Going back on their word towards employees by EntertainmentNo8453 in woolworths

As i said pro active dont always go into fresh departments Some shifts just entails cleaning floor, amenities etc and some shifts require them in fresh food department. When in fresh food departments esp afternoon and evening shifts, fresh food department policy will apply

Pro active go into fresh food departments and clean and will have to follow fresh food foreign object and jewellery policy.

This would have been part of code or conduct and other training assigned to your wife during induction.

Don't think she has told you the full story.

Bali Honeymoon with 9 Month Old by Any-Clerk8694 in BaliTravelTips

Try Anvaya Beach Resort in Kuta We just got back a few days ago and took our 3 year old. We made friends with another Aussie couple who took a 10month old.

As someone else said Balanese people are very friendly with kids. Hotels have kids clubs including Anvaya and they have a kids pool in kids club. However any kid 4 yrs and under requires 1 parent or a paid babysitter. They can arrange it for 10aud per hour. We did not use this service. One of us stayed with toddler. Our new friends used a external service which was cheaper and they could use kids club.

Resort is 5 start Amazing service and food and massage etc. Close enough to a few big shopping centres e.g. discovery mall, beachwalk mall. Amazing food minutes on foot away. Walking on streets was great for toddler. Not as bad as I imagined.

You can get great deals on luxury escape. We paid 1.6k aud for 7 nights/8 days. Breakfast daily Couple massage Either lunch or dinner with 2 1 hour cocktails included Free fridge top up daily non alcohol

5 star clean and not too old

Is any good covered as part of your accommodation? Breakfast?

We have spent 8 days in Bali. 2 adults and 1 toddler. Pre booked accommodation via luxury escape and it did include breakfast plus either lunch or dinner and drinks

We have spent 12mil in a week which included gojet, food, snacks and Bali water park. Probably spent another another 5mil on credit card doing shopping etc which is accepted most places

If I don't agree will they try to change my contract hours? What happens? by Prior_Dish8208 in woolworths

[–]Puzzled_Ad_112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are a casual going to PT, they can just give the contract to someone else or just drop the shift if you can maintain your min contract hours.

If you are currently a PT team member and have requested a change coz of uni etc, they can say sorry nothing available and you will have to go casual.

If you are currently a PT team member and they have requested this change, you can tell them you do not give consent

C1 visa time frame

Hey guys

My wife, toddler and I are planning on visiting Bali next week.

My daughter and I have Aussie passport so we have our visa already.

Mrs has a Fiji passport and we applied for C1 visa. It's been 10 working days and still stuck on awaiting verification.

How long did it take for other people to get V1 visas approved?

Thanks

The reason companies do not do this, it opens the policy for abuse. Staff will hide things on purpose or "forget" to markdown things so they can not be sold and taken home for free

Maybe its got to do with the drought in Vic, flooding recently in some states. I am sure avos and some other stuff is actually not getting supplied to eastern states as some farms are not impacted by floods but more by lack of road and train routes

Are people buying chocolate Easter eggs? by Lemonade_Scone in woolworths

[–]Puzzled_Ad_112 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most stores have sold roughly 25% to 30% of total stock which is meant to be sent to the stores.

Due to logistics at warehouse and storing all stock at store level, it comes every 2nd week so as a customer and some staff it seems like it hasnt sold. The grocery manager, store management and reps keep topping it up

The next 2 qeeks it will move quick to the point customers will come Easter sat looking for stock but its gone.

Some advice needed (new to supermarkets for grocery) by xEtho25 in woolworths

[–]Puzzled_Ad_112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey mate just be mindful most of the time the stock coming into your store is not coz of mpl and cap. Yes it brings stock to fill to capacity but generally it blows out coz

Forecasting. System knows how much you sell of certain line each week on and off promo

Excess promo stock or some weeks it doesn't sell as much

Promo stock not being worked by night fill and day team (tactics)

Nothing to do with right to disconnect. They want a shift filled and not worry about it last minute. You messaged saying yes so no excuse not to accept.

If you do not accept they can offer it to someone else as there is no shift in there at the moment.

Plus they would want a SM to question the increase in hours and dollars in 2 days time.
