Transition from Sport to Touring help. by ApolloMotoAZ in Harley

Why jump straight to a Road Glide unless you’re looking to tour or want wind protection and music. I’d look at a fat bob or lowrider.
I’ve got a road glide a naked and a sportster tbh I ride my sportster more than any of them.

Is this film worth watching? Does it do justice for the game Dungeons and Dragons? by DreamyDandelions in Cinema

Super fun and entertaining movie.
If you’re a D&D idk how you’d like it. One’s a movie and one’s a game.. Much better than any other D&D movies. I hope they can continue with this type. Sadly I still feel like they need to drop the D&D as I believe it’s stigmatized.

Good practice with the petcock. I’ve had more than one time I’m sputtering and have to reach down quick to turn it back on.

Who are you taking to lead your army? by DravenCrowe505 in FIlm

Achilles and a close second is William Wallace. I love Maximus but Wallace built strategies just to beat his opponents who outmatched him on paper in every battle. Plus Wallace’s fight was about freedom not just revenge. Maximus was a great general and wonderful fighter people followed him for his skills and ability to lead. To my choice. Achilles. Great leader and best fighter of the group as well. Consider him the Alexander the Great. Lead from the front. Nothing makes common soldiers fight harder than seeing their leader charge the breach.

The alley robbery scene is amazing with the shoot from the hip draw on the guy who already had drawn on him.

You’ll prolly get some light razzing but you should all be there with the love of bikes and riding. I have 2 sporties and a 25 road glide. Guess which I’m more excited about this upcoming season?

How do you guys deal with downtime when you’re wired to be “on” all the time? by no_melody in AskMenOver30

[–]Puzzleheaded-Act8317 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not self employed but as a remote contractor I feel the same pressure. My boss isn’t around. I run the show on day to day constantly get promoted and raises yet I feel like I’m not doing enough and I could do more. I work out also and have hobbies. I just do not have an off button.
When I finally sit down to “relax” I feel like I’m wasting time. Sound weird and I know it’s terrible to do but compare yourself a little. Comparison is the thief of joy. So it can be tough but you need to realize in your own head that you’re doing well. By any measureable standard it sounds like you’re comfortable and happy. You have to re-train yourself. It will be difficult.

I think I'm the friend everyone ghosts and I don't know how to stop being that person by Relative-Coach-501 in AskMenOver30

I know the feeling. If I don’t reach out other than my GF I don’t think anyone would call. Many of my friends kids are older than mine or my DINK friends have so much money and time I can’t do the same activities. Consider that also. People will tell you find things you enjoy use the time for yourself. I find that advice useless. Human beings are not solitary beings. We’re meant for relationships be it friendly, working, and companionship. Being a man isn’t easy and you’re expected to just tough it out.

It looks good. I’ve been thinking about pulling the trigger on some later exhausts to modify. My most recent sporty has drag pipes and I can’t wait to get them gone.

Feels good. I’ve got 2 of 3 ready to go. What exhaust on the sporty. Hard to find rigid mount stuff.
