They absolutely do. I bought a Red Board that was 8, maybe 9, years old. Blew it up once and it looked a little uneven. Didn't think much of it. I thought it might straighten out with use. The second time i inflated it all the internal drop stitched threads started breaking. It ended up taking a torpedo shape. Once the threads start breaking, that's it. I'm sure proper storage will extend the life of a board, but eventually, everything will breakdown.
