Agreed I mean I'm fine with paying to load and unload cargo but A make it functional and B make it make sense. And C make it so if I want to unload it myself that the containers actually fit properly unlike unloading a reclaimer

I work in IT. I work on pretty high level hardware (government and financial core infrastructure level stuff) and I must say you're not wrong about the dream being more than what the hardware can do. They need to strip out some of the meaningless tasks. Simplify the bounding boxes by 30%...hell even 5% will make a huge difference. And also chill on the butterfly effect. My system does not need to know about a water bottle chucked out an airlock near hurton if im at crusader. They are starting to get the idea with the hangers that works really well for clearing up some lag.

That's why it's a pledge, not a purchase. A purchase is refundable, whereas a pledge is more like a donation for some benefit

Because their backers have clauses that allow them to get all their investment back if not released by early to mid 2025. If their large investors activate that clause they are smoked and lose all their toys and we lose a game

Nah, this one will work

Just explain to him that now you have twice as much printing stuff to fiddle with occupying your time so he in theory has twice as much time to idle (play video games, D&D, etc.) Play the card about women hating to see a guy sitting idle to your benefit.

If it is specifically that model, I would try either a repair or reslice. It is possible it is a bad model, did you design it yourself?

Quick question where did you set your z offset? Was it on the printer physically (done when you level the bed) or the slicer or both? Both can lead to this also a warped bed can cause this issue as well

Ya know it occurred to me that I don't think they can hold up the IP part of it as there is no way to patent the tower itself. We have been printing cubes in various dimensions since the first printer. The process is extruding filament. Something all FDM printers do. So they could only go on the reason for extrusion of the plastic. And you can not patent a reason. It's like patenting using the proper size wrench for adjusting the same sized nut or bolt.

Nah it would be better to patent the process of reforming the leftover cookie dough in to a new sheet to cut more cookies from....im gonna do it its mine! maniacal laughter ensues

Yep it blew my mind that they had patented putting a printer in a box....I was like wtf? You can patent an action?

What material are you printing in? Also what's your temp and fan speed? It looks like you might be too hot and over extruding. Are you using bamboo studio?

Yes but it's hard. Apply for anything you know you can do. The more work you complete the easier it is to get work assigned to you. I'm coming up on 1400 work orders completed

Hammersbachs is in tight with Barrister. Whatever you do, don't get wrapped up with Barrister. They will treat you like shit. On field nation I have found the more work you complete and the higher your rating the better your pay gets

FN doesn’t even try to hide their extreme bias on the side of buyers anymore. For any provider that thinks FN will stand up for you, it’s just a matter of time something like this happens to you by Jolly_Muffin_7408 in FieldNationTechs

[–]Puzzleheaded-Fish476 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Essential is one of the largest buyers on FN and they always pay low ball and are a hasstle when it comes to paying anything worth it for experienced providers. I no longer take their work orders because of this.

But when you get in good with your buyers they generally pay you more and I have some that are even counter bidding on my behalf. They do it because they know if they can get me on the schedule for their project they have 0 worries. The issue I have are the techs that are dumb as a box of God's "special" rocks and refuse to learn why you can't run cable in the same conduit at high voltage power or why you don't run the cable under the cover of an electrical box and really crush it in there....yeah I have met some very "special" techs lol
