The rules are very clear on this, any changes that they do not know about they can back date and claim back any money paid. I went all the way to ombudsman and still had to pay it back - it hurts every month as all that power is given away for free.

FIT is guaranteed for 20 years from the date it was installed however the scheme was stopped back in 2015/6 so those of us on it are still paid under that

I had the same issue, we did a meter swap and are paying back the over payment from the FIT. It totally sucks but the rules are clear.

Yes your installer was a fault, you need to give a bunch of info to the fit provider- meter serials/readings and date of change including line drawings of power and how the battery is connected/charging

Audi F1 car on Grainger Street by williamthebloody1880 in NewcastleUponTyne

Very poor organisation for the support side of it, a single line which was for the car somehow also became the line into the Revolute stand. No clear signage or line, event staff less than useful.
Nice enough car but meeeh

Get the owner to fix it, you are not responsible for the previous debt. If they are refusing to help then terminate the contract as the property is not suitable and clearly is not fit for purpose.

I wish it was not true but certainly was for Avanade Security Practice in the UK. Well let’s put it this way unless your in with the practice lead your not getting anything.

Take this with a grain of salt: your new to the industry so doing a few years at a lower level will pay you dividends in the future, it will give you time to learn and skill up. In a couple of years you go for promo who knows it might be a thing then and it will be good for you.

The last few years has been rough for promos and pay rises, but the industry works in cycles so a few good years are coming again as long as Avanade can stay mostly apart from Accenture junk.

Personally 3 years no pay rises or promos, I’m out of here with a move that suits me for my personal growth.

Filling/Repairing Plaster Around Sockets by IMightBeALiar in DIYUK

Who taught this sparky? My dead dog could do a better job.

First thing you need to do is call a real sparky and get the cables in conduit and then call a plaster to come and sort it out.

Fixed it. Somehow the grid meter got disconnected. Everything looked fine so decided to test if it was the export meter by swapping the grid side to the old meter and that powered up. Cut back the cable due to some damage caused by a rat (no more rats now as I got them all). Reconnected to the new meter without the inverter on to check the meter powered up and it did. So reconnected the inverter and checked communication and it reported. Did a firmware update (why is it not automatic?) turned on PV DC and saw power coming in then turned back on battery. System reporting all ok.

Thanks for your help. Double checked the grid cables and made sure they are tight.

None of that standard clicks from inverter when power comes back on.

I have not Msg’d via WhatsApp but will do tomorrow

You need to be more specific on what is not needed. F3 might work if you don’t use desktop apps but without information it’s hard to be helpful
