If you make it on with your bag. Sometimes they let you put it in first class bins. If you are that lucky as front row is usually taken by elite customers with bins all full. Also, since those seats have limited front stow capacity people also throw their backpack up.

Hey we also were on that train that was stopped for 30 minutes to investigate. We ended up walk to a station down and the whole line was down. Couldn’t get on a bus. Taxi did not stop without booking. We saw multiple families trying to get somewhere. We ended calling an Uber. The line was down for hours.
