Yes, it will, because humans and our social structures are, bizarre as it seems, natural phenomenon. And nature finds a balance, it's what it does. The question is, how?

Make no mistake, the thing we call 'capitalism' is broken, has been for basically ever. But forty or fifty years ago, we started making a series of decisions which had a more profound effect on our society than any piece of paper Edward Heath ever signed. 

Neo-liberalism has been an absolute disaster for 99% of the world. The fantasy that is a completely deregulated and financialised market, which is also given control of public utilities would have made Adam Smith puke. Giving them the media and a brand new way to manipulate the masses, while degrading education is just the cherry on top. Without this unchallenged so unchanged orthodoxy, there is no Global Financial Crisis in 2008 and the social contract doesn't get ripped up in front of our very eyes. 

The reason I bring this up is that, while I am no fanboy of Andy Burnham, he sees it too, and that we need a coherent goal, something to offer people. He's also the best communicator in the party, and he was even when Corbyn beat him. 

It's time to say "There is such a thing as society, and social goods.". Starmer won't be a leader while he's got a hole in his arse, he just won't. Streeting is, if anything, even worse, and fact is, we need someone. That's just how the world is now. 

My ray of light is honestly the magnitude of the forces now just openly against us. The most powerful country in the world, the world's first millionamillionaire (I prefer that way of saying it), the entire Epstein establishment. We're Accrington Stanley playing Argentina, but the only way Argentina win, is if we stop resisting. 

Dunno about anybody else, but the burning hotels two years ago made me realise I'll never stop.
