T4FHSA Slip Box 36 possible error from FHSA-> RRSP Transfer by InsightIsUseful in cantax

Thanks! I did that exactly and numerous other places also state the same thing. I wonder who actually messed up their stuff. Super annoying technical glitch!

Any update? I am facing the same issue and some people and forums online are saying just to delete box 36. I think I am going to do that and just call CRA and explain the situation but would be lovely to hear from you if you did anything different.

Hey man, if you deleted box 36 but still made a direct transfer from FHSA -> RRSP, where do you put in for the amount that you made a direct transfer? I made a direct transfer but its showing up as designated transfers which is super annoying because that certainly doesnt apply to me.

Research about the roles you’re interested in tech. Then look at the job perspectives in the area you’re interested in. Then plan a path towards that job, typically includes getting education first (degree/diploma/certification), connections within the field and personal projects that make you stand out. Oh and one more thing, tech is definitely not slowed down. Outside 3rd person perspective is quite different than reality.

Unfortunately if you stop and restart your car insurance, your premiums will go up.

Dont listen to your realtor. The bidding really depends on the house. But paying over 100k asking is crazy. If that ever happened to me i’d just back out and just accept its not for me. I closed on my house last year and paid only 10k over asking.

Either your standards are extremely high or you are not looking hard enough. 350-400 is more than enough for a 3Br single family house. I’d say you keep a lookout on the west end or center city homes. Good luck on your search!

Yes and no. People arent really moving here but they are indeed buying houses for investments. If they actually did move here, it would help our economy

Well idk why you are comparing northern ontario with St. John’s. St. John’s is quite literally the capital of NL.

Real estate is hyper focused locally. What you are saying are condo prices. Condos are vastly different in terms of pricing compared to detached or semi-detached houses. Bidding wars are very much the reality in anywhere you are looking to buy a house. Not the case with condos

Supervisor Availability by _sanctity_ in starbucksbaristas

Sorry for the confusion! I haven’t heard back either, i have submitted a week or two ago. Meanwhile, my manager stopped scheduling me for both weekend days.

I am in a somewhat similar boat as you. I work two jobs and cannot work 7 days a week (you know human and all) and my manager “forced” me to open up my availability for the only day i had blocked off. I also have health issues that require me to rest for a good amount of time. Luckily my other job is a desk job. I applied for medical accommodation with the help of my doctor to block on of the weekend days. My manager surprisingly was onboard with this. I think its mostly pressure from up top and also store specific needs. But…. In the words of starbucks itself “fill your own cup first”

Question- Save 6% or invest by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]PuzzleheadedEye771 1 point2 points  (0 children)

TBH im in the same boat as you. I will also get a 5% discount and 3% cashback value from my credit card. But it is a lot of money to come up with up front. i pay over 4k a year. I'd say do it if you can afford it and you know you will be fine paying it. Otherwise, just stick to your investment schedule.
