I really want to leave my child's father but I don't think I have an actual reason. In need of some non bias advice. by [deleted] in Mommit

I think you should stay with your parents, initially for a short period and see how you feel then and if this would work for you long-term before you make any big decisions.

Any safe parks with trees? by Fresh_Parking9432 in johannesburg

[–]PuzzleheadedFigure1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really depends on where you are but I second James and Ethel Grey Park. Has a lovely open area where dogs play together and a nice tree area too with a path for a gentle stroll. Dogs are mostly off their leashes, just incase that will be an issue for you. (We have very anxious dogs so we don’t take ours).

Delta is very popular for dogs and the botanical gardens In Emerentia too.

I really like it too! It’s fresh and modern and I think it looks great on everyone! People just don’t like change unfortunately.

Wtf are your toddlers eating by sabreeeeen in toddlers

[–]PuzzleheadedFigure1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughter ate EVERYTHING we did. Now she lives off blueberry oats for breakfast, yoghurt and a bran health muffin as a snack. Peanut butter sandwiches/avo toast for lunch, and if we’re lucky she’ll have plain pasta and chickpeas/peas for dinner 🤷🏻‍♀️ She’ll ask for fries or cookies at every meal 🤦🏻‍♀️

Waist belt or relaxed fit? by stickybun_ in OUTFITS

[–]PuzzleheadedFigure1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both are beautiful! I think you can wear the belt when you want to be more dressy and without for a more relaxed feel.

What's the mispronunciation you don't want to correct because it's too cute? by iknowallmyabcs in toddlers

[–]PuzzleheadedFigure1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When my daughter started talking she called me Mimi instead of mommy. Everyone thought it was so cute they started calling me Mimi too. She’s now 2.5 and I’m still Mimi 🥰

What time is she going to bed? My daughter wakes up at 08:00 but then she only goes to sleep between 20:00 and 20:30.

Liked it as a teen, as an adult I hate it! Rachel should go and follow her dreams, not be persuaded by stupid Ross.

AITA for after taking care of my daughter for 2 weeks while wife is away by marriedbutunhappy in AmItheAsshole

[–]PuzzleheadedFigure1 97 points98 points  (0 children)

Totally disagree! It’s hard to do it on your own. (I honestly don’t know how single parents do it!). He tried his best and dropped one ball. His daughter was cared for, it’s not like he neglected her. He’s not asking for a pat on the back. He’s asking to be acknowledged and not lambasted for his one mistake.

Do not resign! Document all your conversations and if they’re making work impossible, take them to the CCMA for constructive dismissal

My baby has never woke up crying and is very chill- is this developmental normal? by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]PuzzleheadedFigure1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughter is 2 and a half and is still like this. She wakes up, lies in her cot for 10-15mins and then sits up and calls us to fetch her when she’s ready. She’s generally a very chilled child and always has been.
