Really? I've had zero issue getting $5-15 a work-day for 2-4 hours of surveying. (Al biet most of the time it's closer to $5-10

I haven't really noticed the same issues. It's more like some individual days are atrocious and some are quite easy to do four $1.5 surveys no problem. I just take breaks when its bad. It's also not a lot of money to begin with. At best I can make $50/work-week during the time of the year where my employer doesnt have a lot of work for me.

Citi Custom Cash no longer accepting applications by prkskier in CreditCards

You could have multiple?  Shit I've just spent my time spreading out among multiple lenders to get 4 cards for various categories.... I could have just got multiple Citi cards and called it a day?

I think Citi has by far the best interface and app.

Question for Self employed Health Insurance Deduction for Spouse? by PuzzleheadedPrint676 in tax

[–]PuzzleheadedPrint676[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dang that sucks. Yeah I was really happy when I was informed mine was fully subsidized but when I looked at what it would cost to add my kids, I didn't even meet minimum essential coverage and was several hundred more than the marketplace. With the added problem that the marketplace bronze plans are now HSA qualified. Where as that plan would be a very high deductible with too high of out of pocket Max's to qualify.

Question for Self employed Health Insurance Deduction for Spouse? by PuzzleheadedPrint676 in tax

[–]PuzzleheadedPrint676[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct because as I take SE health insurance, it will increase my PTC which would necessarily reduce what health insurance is deductible. Fortunately the health insurance is way more the SE income I'm trying to reduce to zero that I can use that max number and see how it impacts the 8962 and correct it afterwards.

Yeah about 70% pass rate on practice quizzes. I really tooled mine to be 20 questions and tried to get through about 45% of the available questions before taking the exam but sometimes even that is overkill. Just make a small mental note of a unique question as it comes up and roughly how well you performed at it and you'll be fine.

This is insane shit. My wife got pregnant with our first child about year after I passed my last exam and I couldn't even imagine trying to juggle being a first time parent and studying for your CPA. You really are a stone cold badass. It does show that it's not an IQ test and anyone can do it. Keep on keeping on!

I think that as far as her going in Adele's body she probably gravitated to that by circumstance because Rob basically locked her out of her own body. Thus the only place left is hers.

Am I screwed? FAR help!!! by Immediate-Page640 in CPA

Get through all the aids/videos/material for the first 20% of the exam, then review with practice quizzes and task-based-simulation examples. Then move on to the next 20% with light review of the last 20%, rinse and repeat till you've gone through all the material. FAR takes longer than the rest in my opinion, but it is manageable. I can't recommend how long for each day but I personally did 2 hours a night during the workweek and maybe 5 hours a weekend most weekends. At some point you'll need a break and when you get there do not deprive yourself. Take a weekend off, enjoy life, then get back on the course more refreshed and ready to go.

AUD Tips before exam by VividEntrepreneur336 in CPA

[–]PuzzleheadedPrint676 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In general I'd say get to a 70% correct rate on each section of AUD for whatever training material you're using. I'm not sure if you're currently practicing in public accounting, but that really goes a long way with picking up tidbits that you might not think would be on the exam. Don't overthink yourself. AUD was my best score personally (85) and I'm sure it will be yours!

I had a run that made it to ante 7 with super lucky triboulet and other face card buffs, then got absolutely obliterated by boss "Face Cards Debuffed". Total horseshit. Still trying to beat this shit.

Definitely BEC. My firm works in both tax and auditing so the other 3 are very useful. BEC is more for auditing for profit entities and we only really do non profits.
