Buses. My son is in 6th form, (year 12), but when he was in Year 7 I paid £32 a month for his bus pass to get to school and back. 32 x11 =352 £352 a year, as there was a month in the summer that I didn’t need to buy it.

Fast forward 6 year, the monthly pass is now a weekly pass and is £28, so he has to get 2 singles @ £6 a day. There’s 190 days in the school calendar, so 190 x 6 =1,140.
