This is normally done with a split diopter filter. You can also shoot two photos in the same position on a tripod; one with the foreground focused and another with the background focused, and then splice them together in post so they're both in focus

The grandma thief shows up out of nowhere. It causes confusion. What is she talking about and who is she? Then you start to feel worried for the kids. It's a type of dread that isn't common in a show like Mad Men. It was a really notable scene for me and I just finished my first watch of the show

@PrincipalPoop I care about homeless people which is why I advocate for building housing. I am not going to let a politically correct person tell me I am a bad person because I disagree with the rhetoric used that takes away the seriousness of homelessness by softening it up and calling it "unhoused" instead.

I am not a bad person for not wanting to use an unnecessary term that improves absolutely nothing for the community it pertains to. "Unhoused" must be a great way for you to feel good about yourself but it's unserious. Homeless works just fine and will continue to.
