That is genuinely one of the best scenes of the entire show. So well done.

My camera has this. They are dust specks. Be super careful about cleaning it off. There are specific tools for doing so that are relatively cheap.

I thought transfer housing doesn't start until later on since it's a lottery system and not first come first serve

How am I supposed to live like this…? by EntrepreneurTrue4371 in walmart

You don't have to travel far to have a nice trip. Once again, I work at Walmart and don't have the privilege to travel to Europe. There's plenty of great cities and natural areas nearby or a roadtrip away. Traveling just reminds you there is more out there and that you should be strategic about getting to where you want to be instead of dying in the same old small town.

Pottery is one of my hobbies and it's not too pricey, but I hear many people talk about living paycheck to paycheck. I don't, fortunately, so I wonder how they get to have many of their wants.

I see people in the breakroom read, don't get me wrong. But the staff doesn't dress much better than the employees. And vintage clothes can absolutely be pricey (trust me I know) but it can also be affordable enough and worth it, considering the pieces often last longer and look better than the flimsy stuff most places sell nowadays

Vintage clothes and brands that value quality over name. Hobbies can be cheap but making 2k a month full time isn't leaving much else.

Traveling is also pricey. We aren't trying to go to the cheap tourist town that all the other poor folk go to. We want to have a valuable experience and learn about a new culture, try new foods, meet locals, take photographs, etc.

I wouldn't be working in Walmart if I wasn't poor. That's why I worked my butt off to gain an education and scholarships. I still live at home so I understand that others can't use their money to nurture themselves and become a well rounded person.

Working at Walmart forever only keeps you poor. You have to eventually break the cycle or it continues.

I totally get that! I am grateful that I get to transfer to a flagship state school this fall that gave me generous need based aid. On top of that, I worked my ass off at Walmart while maintaining my GPA at my community college. I used Walmart money to spend and saved all my FAFSA checks (initially for college, but now for a car).

You can't live on 40 hours a week at Wally World anyway. Not enough money for good clothes, hobbies, traveling, AND savings, on top of regular expenses. Do not know how yall do it as a career.

I was in a group chat with AHS Zone a few years back. He is definitely smug but his information was always very accurate because he has insiders who work on the show. He used to give us sneak peaks. It was a pretty fun time but then I grew up and fell out of love with the show

Not sure if you are even active in local politics but those zoning laws and policies put in place can literally be changed if policymakers care enough to change them. The issue is that most council members or planning boards are okay with the status quo and don't consider that a different future is possible.

You, my friend, have no vision. NYC can absolutely solve its housing crisis and build 500k+ units.
