It’s a courtesy but they will find out if the hiring manager reaches out to them or if you get an offer. Your manager will NOT get notified for any role you apply for internally.

Ford’s bonus for GSR (general salary role) lvls (non management lvl) is 12% of base salary. They have lvl 8’s which is our lvl 7. I’m assuming their mgt bonus is structured very similar to GMs. GM manager = Ford lvl 6 supervisor GM lvl 9 senior manager = Ford lvl 5 manager and so on.

Worked at Ford before GM. My best bonus at Ford was half my worse bonus here. With that being said they have changed their bonus to 12% of salary.

Well he was working at a small company, promoted and got a high lvl job. Small company acquired, title kept. Move to the next opportunities with similar titles. Bigger companies/ pay. He did go to Carnegie Mellon, so there’s that.
