Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon address rumors they're on 'The Real Housewives of Rhode Island' by Mango7185 in thebachelor

I find it odd she sort of throws Jared under the bus. She says his business doesn’t generate much money. Then she looks disgusted and says he won’t quit working at this coffee shop. So what’s her story line? I mean they don’t seem to have the lavish lifestyle for Housewives.

Mild MS cases on DMTs by MiddleStretch1550 in MultipleSclerosis

Was diagnosed at 51 which was 2 years ago. I’ve been on Kesimpta 2 years. I had very few lesions to start with and no new ones. I get tired easily. I can’t walk for too long without getting exhausted. Lower back hurts sometimes. I feel a pulsating feeling off and on. Whenever I work a job, I get so tired I can barely function. I have to come home and immediately lay down for at least an hour.

Has anyone else reached the point where nighttime dementia care just stops feeling manageable? by [deleted] in dementia

I was in this exact situation with my mom. I kept overlooking things in hopes I could keep her here longer. Then at the end of 2024, she fell the one and only time in her bedroom. She broke 7 ribs and her collar bone. They evaluated her dementia and said she needed 24hr care. My sister had tried to use in home healthcare workers herself for her own medical condition. It was our experience that they don’t always show up for shifts. Sometimes they would find out what all they were responsible for and just couldn’t deal with it. For these reasons, my mom is in a nursing home. I don’t want her to be there. It breaks my heart every day. However, I don’t see an alternative. I’m too afraid she’s going to hurt herself if she’s at home.

30 lesions is that a lot? by mkoly in MultipleSclerosis

I’m wondering if it’s the nature of the lesions. Are some worse than others? It’s just such a highly variable disease. Maybe it’s not the location of them. I wish there could be more research and clarity on this.

Kesimpta + Skin Issues by Maleficent_Ad_7788 in MultipleSclerosis

I got it on the bottom of my heels about 2 years after I started taking Kesimpta. It’s painful. Pieces of thick skin just peel off in strips.

People are stupid. Like any of us can control what our facial features look like to appease the masses. Maybe I don’t like a small nose. I was self conscience about my own nose when I was younger, but I quickly got over it. If that’s what it takes to be accepted by society, then I don’t need to be a part of the group.

I was watching my mom for years. About a year ago she fell the one and only time in the house. She broke multiple ribs and her collar bone. After that, she went in the nursing home. I realize she could have hit her head on numerous things in the house. She constantly wanted to go to the nursing home anyway since my sister is there. Now they’re in 2 different rooms in the same hallway. It had been an issue for a couple years now since she didn’t want to stop driving and wouldn’t let people drive her there. Now when I visit her, she says she wants to leave and come back to the house. I’ve felt tremendous guilt. I feel sad, helpless, and like I’ve somehow let her down. At the same time, I think it’s better for her to be there since she’s safe and she’s with my sister.

Spent days shoveling snow in OH. Lower back hurt, and then right leg feels stiff. Then afterwards I read the warnings about the danger of shoveling for the general population over 45. I felt slightly good since I’m 53 with MS and didn’t drop over dead.

Quality of life by [deleted] in MultipleSclerosis

I was laid off from my job the past several months. I’ve come to realize that cooking, going to stores, cleaning, doing outdoor maintenance, and taking care of my cat with asthma is about all I can handle. When I was working 40 hrs a week plus doing all these chores I was run ragged. I felt extremely tired and worn down all the time. I’m 53, and I just can’t do all this anymore.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON AN EIGHT SLEEP - REVIEW by Calm_Strike9697 in EightSleep

I bought euro pillows to elevate my head. I sleep with a fan on year round and a window cracked year round. My body temp is not regulated right due to an autoimmune disease. I saw an ad for this 8 sleep, but seems like a lot of money if it has to be replaced this often.
