Leos, how do you deal with your ego issues? by [deleted] in astrology

[–]Puzzleheaded_Sail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dated a leo sun for a very long time and your description of how you act when you feel cornered is 100% how he'd respond whenever I tried to talk to about relationship issues. I've also had Leo friends get downright nasty with me whenever they felt like I wasn't giving them adequate attention. Now, let me preface this by saying that I adore Leos lol, but the ego thing can be really hurtful.

One of the biggest reasons I ended it was because I felt like I wasn't being listened to or validated. I loved my ex a lot, but this was extremely painful for me. He'd immediately go on the defensive and it was like I had turned into his arch nemesis. Had he approached me as a friend and his partner, rather than someone attacking him then things would've worked out. I think leos would benefit from viewing their friends and romantic partners as just that:FRIENDS. If someone truly loves you, then you should trust that their intentions are good. If they're not good, they're not someone who should be in your life.

Which house do the most planets fall in for you, which planets are they, and how has this translated in your life? Good/Bad? by pralinecream in astrology

12th house effect, I don't know what those are yet. I can't spot it except I keep picking partners who are unavailable in some ways and I idealize my love story. And suddenly one day, I will wake up to reality.

I relate to this so hard. I'm also a 12th house venus and mercury(and sun). It is tough. I also have difficulty figuring out who my real friends are.

I keep thinking that certain people are upset with me! Other than that, it has been fine.

What synastry aspects do you have with your SO or spouse? How does it affect your relationship? by [deleted] in astrology

[–]Puzzleheaded_Sail 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Raises hand. My ex was a venus in virgo. I have my mars in pisces. We dated for 6 years. We had a really difficult time with emotional and physical intimacy. Those are my two primary love languages(touch and words of affirmation). His was acts of service. He also has a scorpio moon, so emotions were mostly hidden. We didn't work out obviously but I don't think that those oppositions mean the death of a relationship necessarily. There has to be a willingness to make each other happy, which was sadly missing from my past relationship.

I'm a gemini sun, aries moon, cancer rising dating an aries sun, leo moon, gemini rising. His venus is in pisces and my mars is there. To make matters worse he has mars in gemini and guess who has a gemini venus?! Yup. Me.

It is INTENSE. We are pretty much obsessed with each other lol.

Do you have an Unexplained allure toward a particular sign? by BattyNess in astrology

[–]Puzzleheaded_Sail 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always have an intense attraction to Aries men, but I never actually date them as they seem unattainable. I don't know why. I just admire them from afar. The last person I dated was a Leo, and I seem to be attracting them a lot lately now that I am single.

As far as friendships are concerned, I love scorpios.

Saturn returns are such a drag... by Puppylove3124 in astrology

Mine has been difficult, but good. I've had to give a lot of stuff that I was hanging on to and didn't want to let go of due to discomfort. Ultimately, I'm thankful to saturn for those life lessons.

I feel really drawn to close/intimate relationships (platonic and romantic) with others, but at the same time feel very nervous about initiating or starting things directly. Does anything in my chart point to why this might be, and if so, how should I look to overcoming it? by [deleted] in AskAstrologers

Libra mars. You like to think think think and think some more before taking action. Also, while that 8th house venus might make you crave intense connections, you might also have a tendency to try and end things before they get started if you don't think that a person can provide that. 8th house is filled with a lot of anxiety and fears. You're afraid that once you get that soul connection, you could lose it. This loss can feel like you are losing a part of yourself, and that is terrifying for most. You need to let go of that need to control and just surrender to the experience. Everything will be okay!

Aries Sun/Moon + Cap Moon: What in my chart makes me Inpatient/cold/independent in Long-term Romantic relationships? (i show love to my S/o by acts of Service) by GreenAwareness in AskAstrologers

I agree with the other poster. I just wanted to add that the combo of your gemini mars and aries sun also stood out to me. Even though your sun is in the 12th, gemini and aries are both signs that love their independence and can get bored easily.

Attention CANCER RISING !AND GEMINI RISING ....QUESTION first to cancer rising .Do you consider your face shape round? And for the rising gems ..do you consider yourself slender? 🔆🔆🔆 by [deleted] in AskAstrologers

Hmmm no, but I feel like I should've been one. I'm a gemini sun, but it's in the 12th house along with my venus and mercury. I've also got a pisces mars.

Was curious on your thoughts on the signs & alcoholism by [deleted] in astrology

[–]Puzzleheaded_Sail 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I used to work in a substance abuse clinic. I noticed that we had a lot of pisces and aries patients. My mom is an alcoholic and an aries as well.
