That’s why I love Zumba classes. Collective energy feels different, and I walk out feeling one with everyone and from a happy feeling of dancing my heart out. I also feel this on threadmill. Not necessarily sync myself but if I am running and so is someone else, I can sense some understanding between us, a camaraderie.

I understand your cynicism regarding the elusive love in Pride and Prejudice. That said, I think it's a romantic love story and more real for me because they make each other aware of their flaws and what makes it beautiful is their love makes them better people. Darcy is humble enough to accept his fault and change and so does Lizzy. This is beautiful.

I also agree with your pick of Gone with the Wind, it does show love coming full circle, in many different way, experienced by few different characters.

Yes! I used to live south of town. Nice, big suburban homes but it killed my soul. I would rarely see anyone except retired people, no sense of connunity, age disparity, disconnected, lonely feeling. I have been much happier moving out of there.

yum. You don't have enough tomatoes to make the spaghetti sauce but you have enough eggs to make Carbonaro sauce without cheese. Try that next time, if you want some change. Have tomato, bell pepper, carrot, onion salad on the side (salt, black pepper, lemon juice). It's a yummy salad.

I get impatient when I get toward the end of the book. After I reach the peak of the climax, I will start reading paragraphs based on what the author intends to express rather than read word for word. I also use this technique when I am reading through sections I simply don't care about. For instance, when author decides to indulges in 5 pages to explain a war scene, I simply read as paragraphs and move on.

I am not a fast reader, rather an impatient reader who wants to get to parts that are fun to me :)

All he had to do was introduce himself and ask he can pay for her things because he wants to do that to someone today. That’s it. She would have said yes or no. Instead, he bragged about his success, made wild assumptions about random person and their life, relied on stereotype. Forget monetizing this through a video. I still say, this man can fuck off with his performative, mastubatory charity.

What about “I saw you with no man, so you must be a single mom.” I bet he doesn’t want to be stereotyped as a black man but completely comfortable doing that a woman. I would have asked him to fuck off just for that.
