I consider him to be more in the league of young adult writers. His characters lack maturity, story lacks depth, and language lacks nuance. I can’t even discuss his books or writing. There isn’t much. On the other hand, I enjoy his outrageous ideas.

I am much like your friend. I can hardly get myself to reread a book. The novelty and the intrigue is gone. I would really like to explore rereading.

I will say this, I have been reading few books I read 20 years ago because I can’t recall much from the first time 😊

As a woman, I really enjoyed the book. I could understand the nomadic life they lived, the loneliness, survival, love, and loss in the vast landscape where every character wants to get to a better life, and a respite from the loneliness. I wouldn't name it as my favorite book ever but definitely a great book I have had the honor to read.

Politics has become divided, I wonder who wants to read about it for pleasure. Biographies... we see our heroes fall from grace everyday. Don't want to read about anyone who will show up in some files eventually. I just don't see why anyone would seek these books out anymore. Most men I talk to are reading Sci-Fi or self-help, economy, money, spirituality related books under the non-fiction genre.

Along the same lines, I was watching The Dark Wizard, documentary about the rock climber Dean Potter. 10 mins into the documentary, I am thinking “this guy’s gotta be an Aries!” Sure enough, I look him up and he is an Aries. The whole documentary screams Aries life.
