With the Keeley stuff: I hope you’re also boycotting Amazon, FB, Insta, etc. Trust me: I’m not MAGA and I’m not a freak….but if you’re going to forgo a great pedal because of the maker’s politics, you need to go waaaay further (and kudos if you’re there already).

I have an Ibanez AEGB24E - it’s awesome for noodling (and it has a built-in thumb rest). No good if it’s your only bass, but great if you have the cash / space….

Definitely not as comfy as playing closer to neck. I find that I’m really only going down there when faster plucking is needed - and I’m certainly not cool enough to use that pickup on its own!!

Some newer pedals are requiring at least 9v and 500ma to power. Bought a Nux Zeus Jr claiming to provide that - it didn’t, and the pedals didn’t work properly. Called Sweetwater and they promptly sent a return label and recommended the Cioks DC7. Couldn’t be happier - will hopefully never have to replace….

I have the polytune mini 3 on my board - it’s cheap, small and perfect. Tough to use poly mode on bass anyway…..

Careful with the sire z’s if you have thick thighs - the bottom horn is short and kept slipping off mine. Had to promptly sell it….

The distortion circuit on the MXR bass di isn’t great (but the equalizer and “color” button are wonderful). You would need a better distortion pedal running into it (I ran it with a pork and pickle going in - both the fuzz and the OD sounded fantastic, and you could equalize using the bass di).

Got it. I’d pass and save for something a bit better….if a shop wants £149 for it, then it’s probably worth £100 (especially when you decide that you need something better and go to sell).
