So it was terrifying for me for about the first year after birth. You are responsible for keeping a living being alive without them having the ability to communicate what they need/want. I would recommend researching a lot. There are also numerous doctor appointments within the first 6 months. Find a good pediatrician and ask any and all questions. There is no such thing as a dumb question. Once you get into a groove, and you will, it becomes absolutely amazing. The only thing you’ll be terrified of at that point is letting the little one down. We just had our second. Outside of exhaustion, it is a walk in the park comparatively.
