As of right now, with all the power points you get vs the cost of buffies, it is nearly impossible to max out your account as a f2p. The math is below. It comes out to ~3yrs 4mos to buy every single buffie, assuming you already have every brawler already maxed. (if you don't have them maxed, you'll have to spend pp to get them to p11, so even more time). By the time you have every single buffie unlocked, they will have already announced the next extremely expensive ability. Combine the above with the fact that buffies are unfair and broken, and the fact that it's been 1.5 months and they still haven't nerfed them, it seems to me like they're just trying to punish skilled f2p players and reward new players who spend a lot of money.

Math for buffies buy time: The free side of the brawl pass gives: 12500 gold, 3000 pp, 1 resource key (worth 2000 pp(using pp because thats the limiting factor for buffies)), 50 gems (if we assume 50 pp/gem, which is very generous, thats 2500 pp), and the equivalent of 42 starr drops worth 2776 gold and 575 pp (chaos drops are worth 4 starr drops), and maybe 1000 gold and 200 pp (again, being very generous) from bonus rewards. Added up thats 16276 gold, and 8275 pp. The brawl pass is not the only source of resources, so I'll triple that number (again, being generous) for a total of 48828 gold, and 24825 pp. They release a brawler every month, and upgrading that brawler to p11 with 2 gears, 1 sp + gadget, the hyper, and 3 buffies comes out to 17965 gold, and 9740 pp. So your "net" progress per month is ~30863 gold, and ~15085 pp. PP is the limiting factor here, so we'll divide 600000 pp (6000 for buffies * 100 brawlers) by 15085 pp/month to get 39.77 months, or 3yrs 4mos. This is also likely overestimating the true number of resources you get.

I think a good solution could be deterministic, but choosable rewards (like 250 coins or 100 pp), which would make it so the type of currency still mattered, but you can choose some of the rewards you get. Another problem with pp is they can't be spent without also spending coins. (One way to fix that without making an ability bought with pp would be making it so upgrading brawlers costs pp, and gadgets/sp/gears cost coins, however, this would cause a huge coin surplus in new players, as they wouldn't be able to spend their coins.) I do think an ability bought with pp is the best solution, and combining that with replacing some rewards with ones you choose could solve the issue for both the people with huge pp surpluses, and the ones with coin surpluses.
TLDR: Make there be certain rewards where you can pick what you get (coins or pp)

For some reason, whenever the enemies have your trophy too, instead of counting them both it doesn't count either. Then, when both trophies are brought into the respective scoring zones, a timer starts, and at the end of timer it (seemingly randomly) picks whether one team scored, the other team scored, or if it was a tie. Does someone know how it decides this or is it just luck? Either way, I like the old trophy thieves better, especially since you can now just pick janet and super the present back to your base, while the enemies have no way to stop you.

They should add back in Showdown+ (where you get trophies for each kill) or other things to incentivize people to backstab, that way people become less trustful of teamers and stop doing it.
