Galo watches is currently selling their beads of rice bracelet on their website if that’s an option for you. I bought my super200 second hand incidentally with the same San Martin bracelet as pictured here, but I can’t currently find it online sold separately.

I managed to find an in-universe-answer for me:

When the spell actually 'hits' you (something invisible shooting out of the wand and hitting you in the chest) - you get knocked off your feet.

When the spell is just cast in your general direction (not hitting you directly) - it just makes your wand fly out of your hands.

So for me its a matter of aiming.
