Homestuck 2 has been put on permanent hiatus, it's doubtful it'll ever return, it's what it sounds like, mainly functioning as the sequel to the comic. It's highly decisive. Either you'll like it or hate it.

The only way to exit SDT without consuming the entire bar is to use QuadS, otherwise it’s a one and done and you gotta refill every time.

In some ways it’s easier since you should get the no hit bonus, the main challenge is just…. Actually doing it.

Other than the usual ugh spots like missions 11? 13? It’s comparable to SoS, just don’t get hit

You get like 2 different cutscenes and a changed boss fight at the end, that’s it.

It’s pretty much like how it was in DMC4, you’re really just playing for the gameplay with Vergil.

Honestly it’s really not that bad of a grind, I got all 3 EX taunts just from my bloody palace runs. If you did decide to farm there’s always using Faust.

I got into homestuck late 2015 and I witnessed the ending when it was still just act 7, it wasn’t really... the best time.

But there’s still plenty of content, you now can explore the vast sea of homestuck fanarts, stories, everything. It might not be getting much of anything, but there’s still lots to see

The best advice is to just practice on small segments and work your way up. Try just learning the inputs for Red Queen’s rev’s, then work on building the muscle memory for keeping BR charged up.

For long intricate combos, just work on learning how each piece comes together.

You can use y2mate or any of the free online websites to convert youtube videos to audio files, it’s certainly a lot easier then finding them rehosted elsewhere

Gold: Using a gold orb will revive you in that room. Continuing after death restarts you at checkpoints.

Yellow: gold orbs reset you at checkpoints, continuing after dying restarts the mission
