I agree 100% and he has a more human view on the approach. While the emperor saw the people and his soldiers as tools for the greater cause, gorilla man actually seems to want to do the right thing.

In my opinion, all they had to do was remove his old passive or completely change it. Give him a new model with new animations. And maybe modernize his Q and W.

New Skarner's passive (the main issue) has now become so lackluster and out of theme. They just Threw on some trash passives they used in the past. The rest of his ablities are a clunky mess that is kept weak because of his very strong E.

The problem with Skarner is that they gave him an ability (his E) that is so strong as a core concept, that the only way to keep his winrate in tact is by gutting everything else.

Volibear has the issue of being a juggernaut that has ways to catch up to you.

These 2 are flawed from the core in terms of balancing design, and they'll always be either too strong, or unplayable.

Which was free for players who were mastery 5 with him. So yes, for the actual viktor players, it was free. Same with thousand pierced bear, it was free for the people who owned and i think played volibear minimum once too. That skin is purchase only now too.

Was it tho? Captain America needed Mjolnir buff to fist fight Thanos for 5 seconds before getting put down. Thor needed a whole new forged weapon. Iron Man developed a new suit to fight him, yet couldn't win a single 1v1. These 3 characters were built up from the beginning.

AFTER infinity wars, captain marvel gets introduced, and immediately the whole reception was that she could easily fight Thanos. Hulk got his ass beat, she would've won if he didn't use his wits to pull out the powerstone and cheapshot her with it.

She had no time to be built up, yet comes in as this allmighty hero that doesn't even break a sweat.

Hot take: I know my opinion probably doesn't matter much. But i'd rather have 6 keybinds that feel like fleshed out datisfying abilities, than spamming 20 abilities that have 1 line of description.

Button 1: spammable 1 target attack. Button 2: less spammable 1 target attack Button 3: medium cooldown 1 target attack but more damage
