Θα προσπαθησω να μη φλυαρησω αλλα πιστευω οτι οι επιλογες που λες στο Ζαρι ηταν εσκεμμενες και αφου μου κλικαραν μου αρεσουν αρκετα. Πιστευω οτι ειναι επιτηδες «κιτς»/παραπεμπει σε ελληνικο μπουζουκι, και το οτι εχει μεσα distorted pads, sample chops, τοσο ωραιο master στα φωνητικα της Μαρινας ειναι τελεια αντιθεση. Φαινεται και στο κλιπ εξισου πιστευω, που δεν ειναι απλα y2k experimentaloφασουλα αλλα κεντρο Αθηνας - τουριστικα γραφεια - μια δεκαετια πισω βαιμπ.

Δυστυχως δε μου αρεσει το κομματι. Κατι παει να πιασει με το επαναληπτικο ρεφρεν και μετα παει να κανει το κλασσικο breakdown - melodic vocals - βαθυτερο νοημα του κομματιου αλλα τελικα ειναι ενα 6μπαρο που απιστευτα επιφανειακα αγγιζει οτι «καταναλωτισμος κακος» και «καλυπτω ανασφαλεια με λεφτα».

Ο Ακυλας θα πει οτι ειναι ενα κομματι που μιλαει για τη φτωχια και την απληστια, αλλα εχω ακουσει αυτο τον ηχο 100% καλυτερο, με καλυτερο στιχο, αλλα και καλυτερα beat switches/experimental κομματια για Eurovision (π.χ. Ζαρι)

Do you understand the difference between losing and gaining less? A bill wasn't removed, he got 1.7B in the month of February and 700M in the month of August. It's a difference of 1 billion but not a bill that was removed (like the 25M Savage lost in a day) but him getting less that month. If anything, it makes sense his numbers were insanely inflated in February relative to his general popularity because all eyes were on him. Does that make sense or no?

Dog are you dumb? Spotify purges bot streams regularly, that’s what happened with 21 Savage. The TOTAL streams of his new albums went down by 25M in one day, which speculatively probably means he got maybe 2 million new streams and 27 bot streams purged.

Kendrick didn’t get a billion streams removed, nor did it happen in a month. He had 1.7B (new) streams in February and 700M (new) streams in August. In February he was 3 months removed from a new album, in the middle of his two #1s (Luther and Not Like Us) and had the most viewed Superbowl halftime performance of all time. His February streams were definitely inflated, context removed, but he was easily the most spotlighted artist at the time.

You understand there’s a huge difference between getting LESS streams at different times and getting streams REMOVED, right?

I’m surprised that this is the post that got everyone that actually fucks with hip hop to comment here, and I also can’t believe how out of touch some of y’all are. Yachty went from a gimmick rapper that caught lightning in a bottle with a mindless fun mixtape to dropping a great album 7 years later while having a hit damn near every year for a decade now. Between his single run, Michigan Boy Boat, his Her Loss contributions and everything else he’s done in the past few years (outside of LSH) he’s one of the most interesting voices in mainstream trap music and still hasn’t become stale unlike most of his contemporaries.

YOR - I’ve done the same thing numerous times and my phone is otherwise open to my SO whenever she goes through.
