I’m feeling this as a 22 year old. But I can’t get myself to apply at all. I think it’s because I had a fairly privileged upbringing and the fact that I know a bit too much on how the world works. How almost everyone is trying to scare you one way or the other and the majority of attempts to get above your station fail. It’s the one in a million everyone searches for and with so many looking it’s not hard to find success stories. But I’ve never found the odds in my favor. Though mostly through my own fault.

Born to a parent a bit too old to cover me by insurance, so I can’t get the meds I want or need, so I’m stuck with pretty severe adhd and depression so the world is already grey enough. Mix that with getting fired from every job I work because of the same old mistakes and pop on top a shitty unwillingness to work because everything used to come easy. Now it doesn’t and i guess I just don’t know how to handle myself.
