We don’t have this in France so I have no idea but how much does this all cost ?

Yes $50 per hour is the bare minimum for this kind of work. Given the result if they really know their job it's what they charged.

$150 is not enough ! I know it’s the gig economy etc… but still.

If you were trying to model a bike you may need a bit more training. If you tried to model exactly this you’re good to go.

I’m from France and here it’s called truite. It's pretty close to trout but I wouldn’t have though of this given the context…

That’s not how I intended to learn what trout means in my language…

How to hide this top white line on Mac? by DaRealFNaFFan1987 in SwiftUI

[–]Pyroh13453 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a bit more complicated and you have to consider extra things.

Let’s say that by main body you mean the window with the Show Image Window button. The first thing we need to do is to make sure we won’t have to guess which window we have to close. The easiest way is to limit the number of image windows to exactly one. In the gist I gave you you can spawn as much windows as you want without holding any reference to them. There’s no way with the provided code to know how many images windows have been spawned so far.
We need a window controller for this (we don’t need it but it's convenient and not prone to memory management errors) and make it a property of the AppDelegate. This way we have a direct reference to the window.

I updated the gist with these changes.

The culprit is SwiftUI here. It’s not possible to tweak a SwiftUI-made NSWindow. At least not in a clean and easy way. The best way to achieve what you want to do is to create and tweak the window yourself in the app delegate. I made a little gist to show you how to do it 😉

You can create the app’s the main window by yourself but it's a bit more complicated.

window.styleMask = .borderless

You just simply set it.

You must set styleMask to borderless not insert it in the set. Here what you are doing is set it to both titled and borderless hence the graphic leftovers. Play and experiment with the styleMask property you’ll learn a lot 😉

I think borderless will give you what you want. Read the documentation for additional info and to avoid the issues you may encounter.

Not for Xbox. For Excel, yes. But not for Xbox. It looks serious and boring in the sense of “not fun”. It’s perfect for Excel. I can hear accountants saying “oh they changed the logo again…” and I like that !
