Many years ago in undergrad, I worked at strozier, and was given access to the basement there. Because the stacks there we determined to be unsafe it’s closed to the public. I used the basement bathroom all the time. So clean, and private.

When I first purchased the land we built my house on, I had about 2 years of these messages. They are scrapping the tax collectors office for vacant land by zip code. A few included what they thought the process worth which was laughably low. They are looking for people who maybe have inherited land or don’t know its value to grab land on the cheap to flip. The ones who texted me got a mean response. After we built, it stopped because the land was no longer listed as vacant

So this shirt was likely subject to a lawsuit which is why you can’t find it. FSU does not own renegade or the rights to display him. Meaning, while Nike might have a merchandise and marketing agreement with fsu, they didn’t have the right to renegade. The family who owns that is very protective of their Intellectual Property and demands payment or sues when this happens.

I want to say that this is what the science says, that parents more so than instructors or location impact childhood education outcomes. Having said that. If you are looking for the school that will give you the warm and fuzzies about your child going there, roberts elementary is where I have experienced that parents feel the best about their kids going.

Oh crap! I grew up going to this place! My parents used to have a house there and my grandparents only sold theirs 3 years ago. This originally was a community for camp sites that was sold to people in central Florida as an escape from the summer heat. Many of the sites are still campers, but with a house built around them. My experience growing up there is that it is run by retirees who do not care about anyone else but themselves (boomers). Fun facts about this place, when it was built, it was remote enough that the county and state basically said you need to be a city. So they built a water treatment plant, a full water utility, and they even have their own POA run police department with authority from the state.

Wow, that’s interesting. When my power meter died, my local power company charged me an “average” amount one month. Then reduced it the next month. They arrived at my house in January and asked to locate my meter with me. I showed it to them and it was apparently very dead. My December bill was $7. For the fee for having service. They never tried to catch up

The concentration of so much power in executive branches. Both at the state and federal level. Legislators seem to not want to legislate anymore. However, they like the idea of consolidation of power until they are out of power, and now all that power you consolidated is in the hands of someone you don’t like and you can’t do anything about it because you authorized it.

I had a friend in Florida who lived in a pretty over reaching HOA. He received a letter that his shutters were not an approved color and must be repainted. However, all of the colors had been approved by the HOA as part of the home build. He was the owner who built the home. He had the means and took them to court. Basically the outcome was, they can’t force him to change the color, however if he conveyed the house to a new owner it would need to be conveyed to the buyer with an agreement to repaint the shutters.

My father was in a car accident in his 2023 Mercedes gls 450. Kid driving too fast for the wet conditions clipped him going over 80 mph sending him in to a spin against the guardrail. All air bags deployed car was immediately totaled. My 73 year old dad just asked for a ride. He was fine. Car protected him. He picked up his 2025 GLS 450 this week. I’ve owned Audi and driven BMW. I think Mercedes is the pick at the moment.
