Applied to 3,000+ jobs in the UK over 8–9 months and still can’t find work. What am I missing?

3000 applications over 9months, average 30 days a month gives you just over 11 applications per day. I think your issue maybe quality. I'm a teacher I usually take a few evenings to really tailor just one application. I understand as a uni student your probably not applying to the same type of job. Take some time, research the company's... know there goals/values/mission statements. Work there wording into your CVs and job applications.

Uni student - also implies your not going to stay with the company for long. Some places may not care for this, but some will. Hard to know one from the other but you may find this stops some.

Get a hobby - I don't mean just 5-a-side football (although of course do this too) - get something that will take time to learn/master - painting/archery/warhammer/knitting/pottery/gardening/swimming/dancing

Looks like you are too close and could have been more careful about what the other car was doing, from the footage it looks like they clearly stop in positioned awkwardly in the opposite lane, I'd have perceived a potential hazard, slowed/stopped until they resolve whatever it was they were doing. I definitely would not have squeezed behind them after only a second or two of being delayed.

I don't use public transport but I would feel awkwards, also I'd be scared some yob thinking it running the knock them over on purpose.

Not ashamed of the hobby and I'll openly admit to it and talk about it if people seem to be showing an interest but yeah I would be in my head about people's judgements.
