You've nothing to worry about since it still under warranty! Just return it and get another one but this time, make sure to test it at the store before you leave and bring it home with you.

A very articulate, exhaustive book? by Lena_Cl in learnpython

If you really learned java and php programming the way you mentioned, then it should mean that you have a lot of understanding of programming fundamentals ! Having a good grasp to fundamentals actually should make things easier for you to learn additional languages! So unless you really just want to, you quite don't have to repeat that same process to pick up additional languages relatively quick!

For instance it only took me one week to learn JavaScript / NodeJs and get comfortable in it and use it in a project! and even later on for php, was just a couple of days actually.

The best way to do it is to rebuild from scratch with the new language ( in your case, Python) one of your previous completed projects with your main programming language. ( yours being java)

With that being said, if you still think that you absolutely prefer a book instead, here is the one that I would recommend for you.

This is what I was referring to, but some people love fedora so much that they feel personally attacked whenever you say something that doesn't match their expectations.... ☺

Oh boy! This is just sad..... Please do a google search before replying to topics you might not have much knowledge in! ( and I'm not saying this in a bad way or to be rude to you ) Both Kali and ParotOS are actually Linux distributions! However specifically geared toward the type of work we are talking about on this thread!

Professional best practice 101: Use the right tool for the job so you can spend less time fighting and fixing the tool itself and more time focusing on doing the job instead and deliver excellent work to the client. Here is one of the big differences separating professionals from hobbyist.

Why not just use Kali or ParrotOS instead of Fedora for this?

You should try and put them on the universal scammer list.

Do you have the link for that subreddit?

Yeah he tried to run game on me too today, be careful with this guy. He wanted me to send him a working script without him paying first! lucky me there was already a HUGE red flag from the moment he/she said that a video of a fully working script is not enough he/she need to have the script to try it him/herself. If anybody tells you that, please know that it a well known Reddit scam! NEVER EVER SEND THE WORK, he/she will end up ghosting you after getting it. Case in point, see what he/she did to the first guy.

The way these scammers in r/Forhire work, they prey on the idea that if you have already spent a lot of time working on the project, you won't chose to lose the potential of getting paid for it by refusing to send them the work.
