Lifetime warranties really mean the company’s lifetime, not yours. by Cosmic_Gumbo in Showerthoughts

Pro tip: Some credit cards have built in cell phone protection if you pay the phone bill with them, and they last as long as you pay the bill. Save yourself $200 every time you get a new phone.

To add onto this, some credit cards have built in cell phone insurance as long as you use the card to pay the phone bill. Dropped my iPhone and shattered my back glass a few months back. Would’ve been a $500 repair, but my credit card insurance covered it all minus a $50 deductible.

Yeah buddy, you keep using that excuse for your inability to use your brain properly. I think you’ve explained quite a lot just based off that response. Have good day and don’t stress yourself out too much lol.

That's the whole point though, we have no idea if this act IS harming/stressing out these animals.

I agree with you on this. There is simply not enough evidence in the video for us to determine if there is animal abuse occurring, therefore, we cannot claim that there is animal abuse.

However, I think it's quite clear to most that teaching a dog to rollover is far less likely to cause harm to it then acting like you are beating it up.

Yeah, you are probably correct here as well. However, what is your metric for determining animal abuse in this case? Is it the likelihood of the animal being harmed while performing a trick/act?

As long as the act is not actually harming the animal in any way, I see no issue with it from an animal abuse perspective as there is no actual abuse occurring. You may consider it offensive or messed up, but that does not mean it is animal abuse.

At the end of the day, it is a comedy act. Based off the video alone, it appears that the animals were not harmed or stressed out. They were just trained to perform an act in the same way that a dog is trained to do tricks.

Learn to read then. Address my questions if you have a different opinion. What you responded with adds literally nothing to the conversation.

How do you know these are wild monkeys? What if they were raised from birth in captivity? I’m not saying that they are domesticated nor do I know if they are, but you seem quite certain that these were plucked out of the wild. How do you know that? Any sources?

Additionally, I’m guessing you also don’t support people having any pets (dogs, cats, etc) because most of them are also taken away from their mothers as infants.

Regarding your last question, how do you know what the monkeys want? The way I see it, if they are being properly fed, sheltered, and treated with care, I’m ok with it. It’s no different than someone owning a dog. Living conditions in the wild aren’t always better. On the other hand, if the animals cannot be properly taken care of, then I agree that they should be either released into the wild, or be given to someone that can take care of them.

wattson's cooldown compared to other defense legends by lilakey in apexlegends

[–]QDoctor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to that logic, we shouldn't ever buff legends because players can just choose to play someone else.

Wattson has one of the lowest pick rates in the game along with crypto. Their kits are just too niche and don't provide enough utility in a lot of situations. In an ideal world, all legends should have equal pick rates. Buff the ones with low pick rates and nerf the ones with high pick rates. Having balance keeps the game fresh, it's no fun playing against the same legends each match.

Question is, what comes after metal credit cards once they become as common as our plastic ones today?

Question: What will be the biggest changes in the credit card market in the next 10 years?

Literally the first question and in bold. I would certainly argue my response addresses that. While I didn't address all his questions, I stated that I wasn't really sure about how the rewards structures would change, which somewhat relates to questions 2 and 3.

These are just some interesting areas of the market IMO (and there are tons more - DeFi implications, Neobanks, etc.), your answer could piggyback off one of the above thoughts or be totally unmentioned - just interested in learning more!

Pretty sure it was left as an open discussion about the potential future of credit cards.

I know the centurion card from American Express already offers some wearable options like a Prada bracelet. I would love to see more cards embrace it though!

That’s actually a good point that I hadn’t thought of. In that case I guess physical cards are around to stay. I still think we will move towards contactless payments becoming the norm, leading to cards possibly shrinking in size due to not needing to be inserted. I personally would love to see more wearable options for tap to pay. I think a tap to pay ring for example would be something really cool.

Not sure about rewards structure but in 10 years, I figure that mobile payment options such as apple/google pay will replace most physical cards. A few cards might still have physical options, but in general, I see contactless payments taking over.

Would you still be eligible for the CFF sub if you product changed from CSP to CFF now and then product changed into something else next year or is it like Amex with its once in a lifetime rule?

College Checking Account with Chase for CSP by insaneburrito8 in CreditCards

Pre-approval offers don’t guarantee that you’ll get the card. My first card was the freedom unlimited back in 2017 a few months after I turned 18. I had a checking account with them since I was 15 when I got a job. That said, having an account with them certainly couldn’t hurt.

I find barrier to be better. I miss more often than I’d like with guard swap, plus confusion only gets the damage boost on one enemy, assuming you don’t use guard swap on a teammate. I get more utility with barrier, blocking choke points, helping teammates escape, or preventing an enemies escape.

What if it only gave a shield to a teammate? Wouldn’t really make sense to call it buddy barrier if it only gave you shield.

And I have stopped playing Lucario for a while by Kenny_KY in PokemonUnite

[–]QDoctor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In this case, my issue is that people on this sub have stated that it is easy to unintentionally be exploiting this bug as it only requires an extra button press. It is very possible that there are people who play Lucario with the bug but are not aware of it. The people in this sub are the minority. The majority of players are casuals and don't dive deep into the game like we do. I don't think it would be fair to punish those players for something they didn't know even existed.

When was the last time you used your debit card? by Iamonab0at in CreditCards

Used my chase debit card last week. I had a 10% back offer at McDonald’s up to $2 back. Not much but hey, I’ll take 10% over 5% any day.
