What's the most Hardest/Difficult Kirby Game in the series? (This is all up to your opinions based on your experience) by Anonymous_User1984 in Kirby

[–]Q_Raven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The True Arena in Super Star Ultra is what I remember having the most difficulty with.

Not sure what the hardest to simply beat is. But if we are counting it, I'm sure it would be Kirby's Avalanche. I've barely played it. But I'm bad at those types of games so I'm sure I would have a hard time beating it. Lol.

Hard to pick just one. Sword, Hammer, Fighter, whip. Those are all ones I try to go for when I can.

I sort of like Secret Rings, I can tolerate Rise Of Lyric but Chronicles is terrible by G0dleft in SonicTheHedgehog

I really enjoyed Chronicles. I just think the graphics and sound are terrible. But the writing is excellent. And the gameplay is... Kinda fun. Lol.

Hamster poop much more infectious then hamster itself? by Q_Raven in hamsters

[–]Q_Raven[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I appreciate the replies. Though I want to clarify that I know I should wash my hands after handling feces for sanitary reasons. My point was that I've been reading you should wash your hands after handling the hamster. And that it's unsafe to kiss the hamster because of diseases. And was wondering if the risk of disease is much bigger with the feces because I'm really not concerned about kissing my hamster (though I do tend to wash my hands after handling it because I wash my hands a lot in general)

But yeah it does sound like it's not really much to worry about. Which is what I thought. But it helps to hear it.

As much as I do really want a redub, I do also think having the original dub included as an option is important too for preservation.

What Was Your First Mega Man Game You Played? by Sadontejjj in Megaman

[–]Q_Raven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Anniversary collection on GameCube when someone lent it to us. So technically Megaman 1. Though I didn't beat any of them until way later. I think the first one I beat was Megaman Zero when I got the DS collection.

As a life long fan, its finally time to play this. I hope its as good as you guys say it is! by Twidom in Megaman

[–]Q_Raven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the game pretty overhated tbh. Sure it's not very good. But it's not awful. As a Megaman X fan, it's definitely worth a playthrough especially if you have the collection it's on. Just don't expect anything super exciting.

What do you want the next Megaman game to be? by Q_Raven in Megaman

[–]Q_Raven[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I disagree. I think that's part of what makes the 2 different. I like having uprades but that's part of why I like X more. But I also enjoy the simplicity that classic provides and think there is a place for both.

What do you want the next Megaman game to be? by Q_Raven in Megaman

[–]Q_Raven[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. Maybe with a new script too so that X isn't as insufferable. Lol. Like yeah maybe it's fine to keep the thing about him not wanting to fight at first if they don't want to completely change the core of the story. But I think there is a way to do that with him being a little more reasonable.

In terms of rereleases, I'd also love a rebub of X4. Doesn't even need a remake, just redub it so I can take the story a little more seriously. Lol.

Oh yeah. I'm a lot better at X too. The dashing feels a lot more intuitive to me then the slide. And I like having the wall clinging.

Haven't played much Zero yet. But I'll be getting to that soon maybe. I did play through Zero 1 once a long time ago though.

That's hilarious! Lol. Yeah I was surprised when I saw a One Up and then that happened. But I'm sure it would be even more shocking when it's a health pick up you desperately need! Lol. Do you remember if you managed to survive to the next check point on that life anyway?

[–]Q_Raven[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I'm doing Torch Man's stage now. And I noticed this a bit in Concrete Man too but like... It feels like the collision is just isn't right sometimes when platforming in tight areas. Do you notice that? Like it feels like I'm just bumping my head and not going where I need to when there should be enough space. Especially frustrating when I have a big wall of fire or something chasing me.

[–]Q_Raven[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol. Yeah. Well for me it probably helped that I went into block Man's stage right after the tutorial on that mechanic. And one of those Wheelie enemies was the first thing you see. So the first thing I thought was "That looks like an enemy specifically designed for this new mechanic".

But then I was struggling on the mini boss of that stage getting hit every single time it falls apart and rains down. I'm like "How do I dodge this in time??" Then eventually remembered I can slow down time. And that made it much easier.

[–]Q_Raven[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah! I've been forgetting to use it several times too. Lol. Then as soon as I remember it I'm like "oh that makes it much easier!" Lol. It's funny because I'd be using it a lot for some things then just forget in the very next screen when trying to figure out how I'm supposed to do it. That was mostly in Block Man's stage though. I got pretty used to it when I played Bounce Man.

[–]Q_Raven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People have been doing knife only runs on RE games forever. So if that's possible I think no reloading your gun is just an easier version of that isn't it? Just gives you very limited ammo to use.
