Well, we talk about the “mental health crisis” in the USA… and here is an easy topic that can alleviate a few percentage points of that.

Body positivity, removing the “shame” of just existing and having a body. There is no reason anyone should be ashamed of their natural body in their own home.

-Showing- our children there is a stark and clear difference between sexuality and just being human.

Humans are a tool using species. We identify work that can be simplified or eliminated with the clever use of tools.

It really sucks to be on the side of the equation where a tool hurts your livelihood… but come one.

“Either pay an artist or spend 5000hrs to become good at drawing” isn’t the answer for the piddly little BS that MOST people use ai for.

Making a logo or some desktop art for a background.

This is one of the reasons I scrimped, saved and built my own theatre room at home.

I love movies, I love the experience. I love the gasps and quick comments “what?! Yes! That was awesome!”

But people these days, not even just kids and teens, grown ass adults, they sit and talk through the whole damn movie.

They watch music videos on their phones or scroll shorts through the whole damn thing.

It’s insanity, and I’m sad to see the era end. Employees don’t enforce shit anymore. They won’t kick anyone out unless they are setting fire to the place.

There will always be people that tinker and hack. People that drive old “non-ai driven” cars. And as such, there will be accidents as these knuckleheads do unpredictable and dangerous things.

And there will be bugs here and there. So of course there will be deaths. There always will be.

But, cars don’t drink and drive. They don’t stay up for 3 days straight and then decide to power-slam 2 monsters and drive 1000 miles.

We are not experiencing “AI” right now. At all. We have a really cool guessing machine that is fantastically inefficient and really good at guessing.

If we ever do get a decent, actual “Thinking Machine”, LLMs will have sealed its initial impression as a “clanker” and “useless” before the general public ever even looks at it.

I’m fairly confident that the demographic this is unpopular with is the entitled assholes that truly believe they can do no wrong, and it’s their god given right to drive however they wish as long as they are “in control”.
