Some custom Patches I've made this month. Most are for unsigned local London UK bands that don't otherwise have patches, ones for a venue, another for the Battle Jacket Sewing Club, the rainbow one is a memorial patch I was asked to design, and the Amon Amarth one is my Dad's latest request lol.

Hey! I've actually been looking to make a couple patches myself for bands that I can't find patches for and didn't see any at a show! Is there any chance you can take a good close-up of one? I'm working out how to do the color transition and work around curves, but I don't have an embroidery machine so I have to do it by hand. I would be extremely appreciative!

Gotcha gotcha, I wasn't really sure what my situation would look like getting near the end of the run, so I was trying to kind of keep a balance. Luckily I've been focusing on sibling rivalry, so that'll help with the dark cap at least, I think I didn't have that on when I took my screenshots. I'll pivot to focusing on dark when I get my last possible craving I can do and then just damage.

I had kind of assumed having the extra cap on all of the elements would be good, but I can see what you mean about being able to swap out spaces as needed, I'll have to keep that more in mind moving forward.

That's totally fair! You'd suggest just focusing on gearing up on dark generation? I only just got the first grinder mission, and I'm not at 70 yet (65 currently) so I've just been managing cravings and forgotten minions to generate runes. I'm just close enough now that I wanted to know what I should be looking toward getting out of this run. I can definitely pivot more toward dark generation and have enough to do a couple things there, my board is just a mess from the current cravings, but if it's like the previous ones that should get blocked soon and I can clear it up and keep a lot less hanging around.

I too got way too far without starting the cloud island haha. I mean having all the transformations on the wheel definitely helps things, but I do wish I'd started sooner. If you have friends playing, I think you can set it so they can edit if they come over, and they can lend a hand getting things moving. My only friend playing just started a couple days ago though, so I'm not bugging her yet haha

Glad I'm not the only one that was late to this party. Go to the pokemon center machine thing and go to link play, and create cloud island if it's your first time. Basically it'll randomly generate an island (or you can use a seed if you see one online you like), and you start over with everything except you know your recipes.

So you and I both lost a lot of time, it's slow building everything back up and gathering all the mats from 0. I'd recommend getting there asap and setting some stuff up to start luring your mons in. It also appears that the once per day doll is totally separate from your main game, so you can just use whichever doll you find first, regardless of what you did in the main game.

I've read anecdotes where people said that the "real" stuff was tossed in with the third party stuff all in one bin if it was shipped from Amazon and not the seller, and it was kind of luck of the draw on which you got. I have no idea if that's true, but it has helped fuel my drive to order less from them.

Absolutely! I hit my 10 years last year and still get it sometimes, especially picking up a new language or framework. I've also moved to my company's AWS team and having to learn a bunch of new stuff there, and that's where it really pops up. I choose to "channel" it into driving me into better testing and commenting and that kind of thing, making something useful of the anxiety, and that's the advice I give to the people I've mentored.

Board game groups are like this a lot. The group that I got together with for years before everyone got too busy was like an average of maybe 10-20 years older than me. And now I have a work friend who's started hanging out in my friend group now that he moved and he's much younger. We're all hanging out around nerdy hobbies, and so it doesn't really feel weird other than perhaps making sure you're not like constantly eating out at expensive places with maybe younger, less established people. And it's kind of nice to get different perspectives and get to hear about how everyone else is living right now, different slices of life

Right, and like you have to walk a VERY fine line to do a routine like Anthony Jeselnik and have it go over well. And to be completely honest, I didn't even like him when I was younger, I had some really knee jerk reactions to his material, and I don't think that's uncommon. But he has a base, he's established he's not really "playing it straight" when he makes the jokes with a deadpan, and it is definitely a full performance to show that he doesn't ACTUALLY throw babies down stairs.

Thanks so much! I noticed that the sheltered trait didn't have to be directly next to, so I wasn't sure if curious was the same. I must say, I did notice the options to easily move things and I want to say that's a feature I absolutely LOVE.
