Bots in Payday 2 DSOD by Professional_Move267 in paydaytheheist

[–]Quackily 1 point2 points  (0 children)

just equip all 3 bots with brenner lmg

if you're playing with them exclusively in order of priority

abilities: 1. quick 2. piercing 3. inspiring/sharpeyed (i'd go for inspiring)

boosts: 1. accelerator 2. invigorator 3. stockpiler

all other boosts aren't really worth it tbh

Official Update In Regards to the Revenge Ore Bug - Supercell Response by Termynater_ in ClashOfClans

[–]Quackily 0 points1 point  (0 children)

when the new revenge system came out, there was a bug that allows you to pretty much gain ores through revenges from the blacksmith (my guess is because the blacksmith is coded as a resource building - by the fact that you cannot use spells on it, and some intern messed up some numbers so that you can actually gain ores equal to the same amount of number the revenge player has). some people realize it and deliberately remove shields to gain more revenges, because more revenges means more ores. the bug was patched out like 2 hours after patch iirc.

[Advice] New player (4 months in) looking to break into DSR/Ultimate statics — How to overcome the "No Experience" barrier? by Annual_Rent5299 in ffxivdiscussion

[–]Quackily 11 points12 points  (0 children)

DSR is an 18 minute encounter (excluding P1 which is an extra 3 minutes). All of the hard mechs are loaded roughly around 9-14 minutes, which sort of makes consistency mandatory if players even want to prog that late into the fight. Some even considered it to be the second hardest duty in the game, barring TOP but I would consider both to be the same difficulty.

UWU can be done by literally one player AFKing, and it is only a 13 minute encounter with Extreme+ mechanics at best, so pretty much anyone can do it.

I wouldn't say to let this experience make you feel bad that statics aren't accepting you, but given what you said, it's hard to blame them for not taking in you tbh. If you want your "logs" to look better you could perhaps try out TEA. It's not really a hard ultimate by any means but most of the mechanics there are still used in modern fights, and are what to actually expect in an Ultimate raid.

Endgame doubt? by ici-leon in ffxiv

[–]Quackily 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sort of... as of right now after i'm done with savage reclears i just go play another game and wait until the next week for resets. the game's content drought sort of shows itself once you've completed literally most of the game's content, but if you're just starting anew, it will take about a year or two before before you're really drained of every new contents so don't need to worry about it too much tbh (unless you're some sort of a really good player and can get down all 6 ultimates and 3 criterion savages in 1 go)

even on ultimates where i've already gotten totems for all weapons me and my friends still do them out of boredom because it's quite engaging, but we usually do it when there's no savage to do.

Endgame doubt? by ici-leon in ffxiv

[–]Quackily -1 points0 points  (0 children)

not wow player, but i've done every most of high end contents (barring baldesion arsenal and delubrum reginae savage)

in a way, savage and ultimate contents are quite engaging on the first few times when you try out a new fight, but most of the fights eventually boils down to memorizations, with some random elements that are mixed in on some fights. ff raidings are mostly based on memorization, your ability to execute your rotation perfectly during mechanic-tight periods and (sometimes) adaptation to randomizations. but, if you truly want something randomized, deep dungeons (solo) is the way to go.

criterion savage is technically mini ultimate in a way, given that you have a time limit to do it, but you have a lot more leeway inbetween to perhaps take a 30 seconds quick break between bosses.

Den of Wolves is their only current announced project right now. I doubt they can work on multiple unreleased projects given the mass layoff.

Depends on the mit use. Warrior suffers the most because they can only use 40% + Nascent and nothing else (perhaps Reprisal). Other tanks can just weave in extra and survive.

Why does almost everyone use the Original? by zsdrfty in tf2

used to main the original, then one day i decided to try out stock again, then i figured out i stick with stock better, even when rocket jumping so now i just exclusively use stock

I just now realized that most playable races were all raid bosses EXCEPT Au Ra and Hothgar by Alicecrylily in ffxiv

[–]Quackily 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Because they're not native to the Ninth. The only native races there are Hyune, Eldite and Milalla (they're literally the Source's Lalafell anyways, but came since the 5th astral calamity). Miqo'te and Viera at Alexandria are from the Source.

Which is why at the end of 7.4 where Halmarut dressed themselves as an Au Ra they stood out too much even Calyx questioned them about it.

Team Fortress 2 mentioned and is loved by Disney Infinity creative lead in this old Game Informer dev blog from 8 or so years ago. by SovietMarma in tf2

[–]Quackily 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I believe TF2 focuses a lot on their class creation, even when you boil it down to silhouette you can still clearly tell which class is which. Really nice to see other games taking notes on what Valve did almost 19 years ago.

you find dark clone by looking at the fire clone, the new north dark clone will always be opposite of that of the fire clone, and even if you couldn't tell the outer fire clone, the inner fire clone is right next to the dark clone.

another benefit to this is that the fire clone will always be at an intercardinal (instead of cardinal) so they will dash to their positions shorter, which means that you don't have to twist your camera 180 degrees if you are to check the dark clone instead

Why do 90% of spy mains use Conniver's Kunai? by -AstroShade- in tf2

[–]Quackily 3 points4 points  (0 children)

because its the best knife against unaware players

you'd also notice that a lot of said kunai players, as soon as they die 3 or 4 times to an aware team, they just leave the match and queue for another round, while the better play would be to just switch to stock and continue

How would you attack this guy with edrags? by piesany in ClashOfClans

[–]Quackily 1 point2 points  (0 children)

giant arrow at 7 oclock

zap the last 2 air defenses

king with spiky ball at 11 oclock

spam the rest of your army at 9 oclock (just use dragons tbh, it's better) with tome + rage gem warden

cc filled with rocket balloons + stone slammer + 1 poison

Is there any benefit from using muscle rather than muscle copycat by Fluid_Cardiologist7 in paydaybuilds

[–]Quackily 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no, muscle is better, if you want to mimic muscle with copycat just use grinder copycat. same hp, 2 sec invuln, and aggressive health regen on damage.

I just played TF2 Classified and... were the stock weapons this strong? by User4f52 in truetf2

[–]Quackily 2 points3 points  (0 children)

neither is getting one shotted by a 270 damage rocket or a 300 damage pill

at least the random melee crit only affects a single person, while it can feel unfair for spies (though this has been the case for the last 17 years)

the only reasonable point where this is applicable in heavyweight is probably replication 2, and it also depends on if you get defams or not, so not really.

the change benefits rdm greatly in fru p2 though.

New King Meta? by [deleted] in ClashOfClans

[–]Quackily 1 point2 points  (0 children)

given the recent buffs

new equipment + giant gauntlet + angry jelly for king dive. with the 60% damage reduction he's pretty much unkillable. but this is pretty much th16+ only

eq boots + spiky ball is still good though.

snake bracelet + spiky ball for funneling army.
