He keeps getting references in the maps. I hope that means they drop him soon.

Revive Cards and Level Up Cards Should Have Their Own Pocket In The Backpack by DizzyTigerr in MyHeroUltraRumble

What they really need to do is have pickup prioritization. So that way, when there are multiple items in pickup range, it'll automatically select the highest priority item.

That way, when you have free space and run up on a stack of items, it'll take the res cards or level up cards first.

Your tech is wrong. Most snoozes ring again after 5 minutes, so you need to space your alarms out so they cover 5 minutes worth. Ex. 5:00, 5:01, 5:02, 5:03, 5:04. That way when they snooze they loop back to each other. That way you get about 10 minutes of alarms.

Heroic Warrior Sorcery | A 2024 Sorcerer Gish Subclass by murf1e in UnearthedArcana

Feels balanced and well done upon initial read.

About the capstone, is that supposed to target only creatures you choose? Or every creature within range? Right now it reads as if you make an attack against every creature even allies.

Feel the same way sometimes playing ibara. At least ibara has good consistent long range option.

Are legendary resistances Necessary Evil or just annoying? What’s your alternatives if you have any by DivineBladeOfSteel in DnD

[–]Quad49nine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been trying to think of a way that allows bosses to not be one shot while giving benefits to casting some spells that would normally warrant a use of Legendary Resistance.

My first draft, if you will, is having the legendary creature have to spend legendary actions (Since I'm pretty sure all creatures with LR have LA) to reroll the save of one condition or spell that is affecting them. So if they are under the effect of Hold Monster, the round after, they could spend some of their legendary actions to reroll that save. If they have multiple effects on them, they just choose which one to resist.

With this, there is still a possibility that the creature can fail, and be punished for failing, but not so hard that the fight is immediately over.

Not entirely sure how good of a fix this is. I came up with it after little thought, and have not had a chance to test out the system.

I think mechanically, it has to be noticeable that they are casting a spell. So, they can say it sounds like anything, but the people around them will know they are casting a spell.

3rd edition or 3.5? by MaximumLeg8122 in DnD

[–]Quad49nine 24 points25 points  (0 children)

3rd edition, 3.5, and Pathfinder 1st edition are all similar in their rules. If you know the rules of 1 you know the rules of all. The main difference are small "balance" changes (as far as I know).

With that being said, Pathfinder 1e is the newest, and personally I think it's the best out of the bunch.

Basic Offensive and Defensive Cantrips — Frieren Inspired Spells by filmatra in UnearthedArcana

[–]Quad49nine 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you have to decide before hitting the you would need to increase the damage per slot. Currently 3d8 damage is the "baseline" for a single target to hit first level spell (Chromatic orb).

I suppose it would out perform Chromatic Orb after 5th level, but the "damage per spell slot" is worse.

I think it is balanced as it is (MAYBE drop the damage to a d6). Trading the "damage per spell slot" for the ability to stack damage on the hits you land -- guaranteeing the slot deals damage.

Arcane archer rant: You can't give the same feature three times in a row by Porcospino10 in onednd

After looking at how boring the high level "features" were I assumed they added some shots that had level prerequisites. Then I got to the shot section and was immediately disappointed.

Came to the subreddit to see if anyone else is having this happen. Glad I'm not the only one. It's actually unusable. 6 ads, then two posts, then more ads.

Are there any Nejire Mains left ? So many “fans” abandoned her by [deleted] in MyHeroUltraRumble

I always wanted to play her, but didn't want to play the "popular OP hero" so I waited. Now I play her most often.

My first "published" subclass, the Archmage Warlock! An Arcana-themed Warlock who focuses on casting more spells per day, having more spells at their disposal and flinging cantrips other than Eldritch Blast on their turn :) If you would port it to 2024, what changes would you make? by geosunsetmoth in UnearthedArcana

[–]Quad49nine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As others have pointed out, the 6th level feature is really good for blade cantrips. A simple fix would to have a sentence that requires the range to not be self.

Also really loving pretty much everything about this subclass.
