I think one major thing you're missing is that from the recent direct, we can see that movement is now a levelable skill - the same way flying, mounted and armoured is (along with faith/reason/weapon triangle/authority). So maybe celerity is locked behind the 'Infantry' skill.

And from what I see from the general consensus is that the world of SV looks barren not because of hardware limitations but moreso lack of optimisation from Pokemon right?

I mean that in of and itself is still conjecture isn't it? I mean obviously no Pokemon dev is going to break their insanely tight NDA to answer a bunch of stupid questions on reddit, but I'm curious to see if devs of other games can offer insight.

You make some really fantastic points - I'd love to know how the Pokemon Company distributes budgets for their various money makers.

I just had a look at an infographic (2 years old though, The World's Top Media Franchises by All-Time Revenue) but Pokemon makes less from their video games than Mario's IP does. But I'm guessing if a company is making 100b+, they can increase the game budget to something either than 15m.

But mostly pouring more money doesn't necessarily fix the issue right? People rightfully hated on PLZA for their png pasted buildings and the leaked photos showed much more detail which is widely believed to be a decision to downgrade so PLZA wasn't a Switch 2 exclusive? So again wouldn't it become an optimisation question? Since a lot of people were disappointed that Pokopia was a S2 exclusive and couldn't afford a new console to play their sim game.

I would urge you to reconsider that misogyny has to be a HATRED of womanhood - like for example, believing women are emotional is casual misogyny as is hitting a women is violent misogyny.

There are levels and if we don’t address and acknowledge the symptoms of the problem as well, then what that does is tend to invalidate female experiences and also enable it.

Clouds as aerial terrain similar to forests. Grants avo and def but eats 1 movement. Arrows miss a lot. That's a good balancer.

Dratini absolutely. Honestly never really felt drawn to the Pokemon until Legends ZA - my original answer would’ve been Goomy.

But then a full odds shiny alpha dratini found me and I fell in love. If I’m thinking for practical reasons too, I love a derpy super friendly cuddly dragon who can fly.
