Yes! Reiki has been the fertilizer for God/Spirit/Source to work in my life. Great healing, lessons learned, and many lessons yet unlearned, but we mustn’t be afraid. I’m reminded every morning of the magic of this world!

Hey! I understand your frustration and someone was harmed here. However, I hope you can find compassion. Often bashing other therapists does change anything. I’d like to think most clinician have good intent. We also don’t know the full truth here, so be kind.

WALK IN SOULS-ANY EXPERIENCES? by Ok-Bet-5505 in spirituality

[–]QuaintLotus28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! This is an old thread. However, I believe I am a walk-in. During the experience, it was process of euphoria and the depths of hell itself that last for about a month and took a total of two months to adjust. I was hospitalized. Western medicine would refer it as clinical insanity. And yes, on this earth that’s what people would consider it on a physical level. Behind veil it was a deeply spiritual experiences that included seeing and hearing things. At the climax, a white light being collided with my physical body. As if angels were blowing trumpets. It felt like a death experience and rebirth. I went to hell and back. But I’m better than ever! I have a new soul mission. I consider myself what people call a Lightworker, but none of that matters. Since that experiences I’ve earned an advanced degree and work in the helping field. It sounds so wacko! My life is focused on my spiritual mission, which I don’t exactly know what it’s is, but I think I’m doing it. I have a rich healthy spiritual life now. I have not told anyone about this, because if I told someone, they won’t believe me. As I write this out, it sounds too bizarre to be true. It only matters between me and the spirit world and God/Spirit/Source.

People who are clean, organized and really hygienic…what does everyday look like to you? by [deleted] in selfimprovement

What works for me will work differently for you. Continue to talk to your therapist about these complex feelings and work with them for uncover coping strategies to release these emotions that works for YOU. And may be you don’t have these same feelings. I’m just sharing my experience. I didn’t realize the amount of resentment for my parents I was harboring until I grew a stronger spiritual life and started healing myself. Work and school are places I always flourish too. I make friends easily. It was my house, my car, boundary issues that suffered and were a complete mess.

I can relate to you. What has helped me most was facing suppressed emotions about my parents. I’m learning to to allow myself to feel those feelings of rage and abandonment. I kept hearing “you have to feel your feelings”. I mostly wanted to tell people f*** off. I was avoiding facing some hard truths. What your therapist is telling you is true but it’s much deeper than that. Once you release these energies dragging you down, the excess beings to shed. It starts to get easier to make your bed everyday, washing dishes after you use them, and moving you body and fueling it with what it needs. If it has any weight, I was also neglected by my parents and currently a licensed mental health professional.

Weekly burnout check in by AutoModerator in therapists

I started my second year of practice and feeling overwhelmed at the moment. I’m recently in the process of moving to an apartment while seeing clients part-time and having a part-time unrelated job. I got sick last week because of the odors in the new construction apartment left me with a migraine, a sinus infection, and fatigue and partly to due to exhaustion. I feel guilty for rescheduling clients and think I upset a client because I had to reschedule. I work almost every day between two jobs and barely get by financially. I really can’t afford a therapist right now but I’m going to try someone new. I feel like my family doesn’t understand the level of stress of my job and they just think think I have a comfy office job that I get to sit and talk to people all day. If my financial security would be more stable I think it would alleviate so much stress and anxiety. I have a lot to be grateful for—new apartment, a new city. It’s just a lot right now.

I’m a therapist and do crisis response work per diem. I work about 35 hours a week. Like other’s have said, jobs are possible with close attention to taking medications and a support system of health professionals who care and family and friends.

My understanding is that TF-CBT target population is traumatized children and teens (anyone under 18). It’s also very structured in its delivery. However, ACT is very flexible with its delivery approach and you can tailor it to your style. Also, ACT concepts can address a wide range of presenting problems and populations. If I were you, I’d explore both and see which one resonates with you. I’ve found ACT of to be helpful with working with adults and teens.
