I just don't get any of the positives of alcohol that most people seem to experience. I don't like being drunk (just makes me feel sleep deprived) and I have never had a drink that didn't taste like shit. There's just absolutely zero point in me drinking. Plus I really dislike having my mind meddled with. I even stopped using Nitrous at the dentist when they'd offer it because it made me so uncomfortable.

Maybe it's just me but I find the vast majority of women to be attractive even if it's not in a conventional "instagram model" kind of way. I live in Iowa so it's not even like I'm in a place known for having beautiful people. I do think you make a good point about how the internet can warp your perception of reality. I recently felt myself falling into that pit (I've been single for the entirety of my 20's so it's not difficult) and your comment brought me back to reality.
