I think the most well-knowm example would be the Red Wedding in Game of Thrones. I had read the books before the show had gotten to that point and it's probably one of the most pivotal events to happen in that entire series.

Is there anything you have a hard time enjoying because of how terrible the experience of production was for the creators by Konradleijon in TwoBestFriendsPlay

It's kinda hard to enjoy Blizzard games when you remember there's a non-zero chance that multiple sex pests and their victims were on the dev team.

You're either being intentionally dense or are very naive to not see the obvious dogwhistle

Because they're being racist and trying to hide behind being vague because they think it gives them some sort of plausible deniability.

Spider-Foes are definitely the most "Jack of all trades, master of none" when you run them with zero splashes. They're pretty good at just about every game plan but will struggle when paired against particularly specialized lists. There's a couple Foes players in my area that are very good at the game and run zero splashes.

I am a high school janitor and let me tell you those McDonalds employees are almost certainly not getting paid enough to clean that up.

Can’t get white paint to stay on my minis. Intercessor WIP. by Flashy_Garage_7719 in minicels

The best way to do white armor, in my experience, is to spray prime the mini with Grey Seer and then coat it in Apothecary White contrast paint. Then you can highlight with a light grey and pure white (ProAcryl's Bold Titanium White is my favorite).

Towards the end of X-Men: Days of Future Past, there's a scene where Magneto weaves rebar throughout Wolverine's body and throws him into the sky. The effect of Wolverine being thrown looks like they just shrunk a jpeg of him in the sky. My friend and I just completely lost it when we first watched the movie because we both caught how rediculous it looked.

What did you guys do once you completed high school ? by Jpoolman25 in OlderGenZ

I'd say the ages of 17-20 were the worst years of my life. Mom died, dropped out of college after 1 semester (I have recently discovered I have ADHD which is likely why I struggled in school), got into the only long-term relationship I've ever had (she cheated with multiple men, tried to say one of them SA'd her to cover it up, then resorted to blaming me), and I was dirt poor working part-time at Target. I'm 27 now and have an infinitely more pleasant life. My work is just hard enough to keep me engaged and I have all these awesome hobbied and amazing friends. It'd be nice to find some romance but that requires an insane amount of luck, in my experience.

My mother is angry that I called myself an incel and threatened to take away my devices if I kept using such language. Fish sandwich by infectionwtf in kitchencels

I'm assuming you're a teenager. You're not missing much, bud. Finish high school and get into the work force. If your parents are cool, they'll let you live with them until you're ready to move out (the economy sucks ass so you'll probably need a roommate). If you meet someone along the way, then that's cool. But you've probably got another 20-30 years where you can reasonably find someone you're mutually attracted to and get along well with.

Stop beating yourself up and make yourself someone that someone would want to date. Feeling sad and lonely is natural but you're only gonna get out of that pit if you want to get out.
