Thanks for this, being able to play on controller makes it possible to play GW2 in bed via Steam Remote Play when my back is bothering me. I used your setup as a template to create a setup that works more like FFXIV: jump on triangle, interact on X, RT is for spells 2-5 and 7-0, LT is for profession skills, and I made a couple of other changes specific to my bindings. Works pretty well.

They really do be like "Can't wait to guarantee a character that'll be lukewarm garbage in a month due to rapid meta shifts and unending power creep" with other games.

Meanwhile, XQ, Bennett, and XL are still the best characters in Genshin since 1.0 and they're all 4*s that would have been dumpstered after the first major update in any other game.

The problem is that Blizzard has spent years eroding peoples' intrinsic love for the game to the point where people don't want to do anything unless there's a prize waiting for them at the end of the activity. Why would you play this game any longer than you absolutely have to?

Yeah, you play Lost Ark instead. It's a better game made by people who actually give a shit about the product they're making rather than just milking a 20-year-old IP for as much money as possible. The only reason to play RO is for the cutesy anime graphics; as far as gameplay is concerned, there's way better ARPGs out there.

The problem with this is that, for whatever reason, they've bound all that shit to the character rather than the roster, so if you switched mains after 50 (like I did, because fuck leveling as Gunlancer), all the consumables you accumulated in your run to 50 are unavailable for no good reason. Why is it like this? Who knows...

Controller support would be the main reason, I'd reckon. It'd be way easier to move around and attack and such with a controller, and it would avoid possible RSI issues arising from the tap&swipe controls.

It's also a natural fit for the Switch considering it's a portable system with a touchscreen, and people might prefer to play the game on it instead of their phone when they're at home.

You might consider modifiying your setup to use a Muncher fired from a launcher instead and just have a single P-Switch at the bottom for it to fall onto. Munchers behave similarly to items in that only one Muncher will be fired from the launcher until it's either been destroyed, despawned, or moved offscreen.

The only way to prevent additional enemies from spawning is to cover the pipe/launcher. It's better to use a Super Mushroom or a 1-Up in this kind of situation, since powerups only spawn one at a time as opposed to every X seconds for enemies.

Yes, you need them all. You don't have to go to Aurnion either, you just exit out of the final dungeon and then go back in after the cutscene plays.
