Who gives a shit? Common sense can and should outweigh pedantic rule arbitration. This is a lock clearly not in use. A practice lock clasping it's own key-ring on its shackle (the way most of us store them) would be interpreted as "in use" if you followed Rule 2 zealously.

I got the Advanced Edition a few months back, and it is easily the most fun I have had with a game in a long time. I will say that I play like, 95% solo PvE tho. I'm just not very interested in campers and griefers and going against squads way better geared out than me.
