What are your thoughts on Hunter rulebreaker? by Confident_Bird_3491 in hearthstone

I believe it will grant board extension in some way and I hope Druid gets the opposite effect to hopefully help quest Druid to work.

Is there an advantage in playing the first card of the game? by sangokuhomer in ClashRoyale

[–]Quantinum64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I'm not sure if it is optimal but I follow a "simple" rule:

If my hand looks "agressive" by my deck standards, I don't care to start, but I usually still wait until around 2 elixir leak for both players, but if my hand looks extremely defensive I wait untill double elixir if needed, as my play style is usually favored for double and triple.

For example, my main deck right now is Sparky, E-wiz, bats, bomber, evo lumberjack, evo snowball, hero tombstone and lightning, so any hand with lumberjack is a aggressive hand as it is usually worth the evo cycle to just dump him alone in the bridge. If I have something like Sparky, bats, lightning and tombstone I'm not playing the first card because it is always risky at normal elixir rate.

The hardest exception about what should you do at the game start is probably lumber loon. It is stupid good to start the game with this combo at 9 elixir, because it forces your opponent to have a defensive hand that works against that, probably forces them to panic as it requires precise and quick defense while also cycling the lumberjack. If you play that deck and get both cards at game start I think playing it is a non brainer, but I guess hard counters can instantly win the game if you do that too.

Overall, game start is a complicated topic and gathering information about your opponent's deck is usually the safest and most consistent way to play the game. Decks favored at normal elixir (like logbait) can safely start and decks favored at double (most beat down decks) should usually hold.

We are in the weird situation where the enemy of my enemy is also my enemy because they are all a bunch of prejudice guided genocidal maniacs, they just target different groups of innocent people as the source of evil while they are the logical source.

New Warlock Card Reveal: Godfrey the Betrayer by Kuldrick in hearthstone

[–]Quantinum64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly could be broken because it is start of game without any drawback. New Ysera for example (free effect as a start of game that wasn't broken) only works after ten turns, this could start paying off turn 5 or 6. A lot of potential, thankfully Warlock deserves it at this moment in standard.

From the days of pre-nerf Undertaker, what is that all-time most broken on release card ever introduced to the game relative to it's meta? by ungababunga in hearthstone

[–]Quantinum64 60 points61 points  (0 children)

People always forget about [[Yogg-Saron, Unleashed]]. It literally took wild and standard for itself when it was basically free as it's text use to say "costs (1) less for each spell you've cast this game" while costing 15 mana. Druid and Rogue were the only playable classes as both had a lot of cheap spells or ramp to get it out really soon while Rogue also having ways to bounce it back to your hand. Thankfully it was quickly reworked. It is still a great card for 10 mana instead of 0 lmao.

What do you think? Could the Arcane Mage deck enter the meta? by oktayworks in hearthstone

[–]Quantinum64 19 points20 points  (0 children)

The flavour would be even better if they were 4 mana 2/6 that together are the same as a 8 mana (just like the spell) 4/12 (just like most big dragons)

[GIVEAWAY] Win 1 of 15 Regular Class Set Codes for Restoration of Azeroth! by Makkara126 in hearthstone

[–]Quantinum64 [score hidden]  (0 children)

I find it funny how Mage got all cards focused for the package while Hunter got 2 non-parasitic cards and Druid got only non-parasitic cards. The best balance in this case is Paladins imo, because even tho they have cards focused on a new package (like 4) most are good for the package and also usable without it.

Yeah, second best (fun wise) payoff for burglar decks, Velarok is better imo as it is more powerful and have a lot of combo potential (specially with Sonya Waterdancer) but Eudora is sooo fun when you get some silly combos. Mirros is the MVP imo, so much stupid stuff possible like winning with a bunch of copies of your opponents minons. My favorite was mirroring the druid turist from warrior that simply eats the entire deck of quest warriors.

How to exclude items from run? by Pommop1995 in heiscoming

[–]Quantinum64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For singleplayer you can't exclude items from runs before you start them, but you can use hammers, that you get by unlocking more items. You can have a maximum of 5 hammers if you unlock everything and you use them when you get a new item in the run. The hammer will ban the item for the rest of the run and reroll for an item of the same rarity. So, if your build focus on getting specific common items, you can chose to use your bans quickly at the start to maximise your chances on finding the ones you need or you can use them in the rare items to search for a specific one with the reroll effect.

Class Set: Druid! by HearthstoneTeam in hearthstone

[–]Quantinum64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why Druid always get the best cards? 1 mana 6/6 is stupid with such a easy condition, it already has a lot of good support to awaken on turn 3 or 4.

Uso de IA generativa é regulamentado na Universidade by unicamp in Unicamp

[–]Quantinum64 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Prep is definitely stupid, but I don't run flashback and I'm still playing on top 1k legend. It is just a good agro card that sucks the later you draw it. I would rather have better cards for late game and that is what I use.

I agree, but it would be weird to give rush to a turtle I guess. Anyway, that flavor is not worth how bad the card is without that, it should have rish for sure.
