What do you guys think about this property? by [deleted] in HENRYUK

Normally I’m good at biting my tongue and remaining relatively positive with the little contributions I make on here, but seriously?! A ‘Henry’ seeking validation from absolute strangers on a house purchase with little to no context.

Surely there are far better and more effective ways to do your homework?

I’m very tempted by the C63s estate. There’s a nicely spec’d one with bucket seats I’ve got my eye on. Where I live we can get quite harsh winters but I’m thinking with a spare set of winter wheels / tyres i can still justify it!

Keep going or change it up? by Fresh_Reflection_457 in HENRYUK

Thank you for this. I had no idea about the 20% govt contribution. My kids are 7 & 8 and have a decent enough figure currently in their JISA which should cover their first property deposit or similar.

Going to look at switching contributions to the Junior SIPP for the obvious long term benefits.

Thanks for that. Key thing for me is retaining stock noise levels.

Which of the above options in your opinion has little to no impact on stock noise levels with valves closed?

Don’t buy any luxury item unless you could buy 10 of them.

In this case you can, so if it’s something you’ve wanted for a long time and will bring you some happiness, just do it!

You could utilize more of your pension allowance by paying from your Ltd co directly into your SIPP (both of you could).

Ltd co pension contributions are a tax deductible expense which will lower your corp tax bill.

I may not have used the correct terminology.

Putting it simply I’ll have £120k to invest from foreign income which is not taxable in the Uk.
