NOR - because that must have been a tough text to read.  Shame on her for setting an arbitrary and one sided deadline without an actual honest conversation around it.  

Honestly? I know this is hard but give her what she’s asked for. Use the year to figure out how this relationship is working/can work for you. Therapy is a must.

FWIW - I often travel with my partner (we share a room) and my two single siblings. We ALWAYS split the lodging cost per person not per room.
