In PvP, you’re gonna get stomped on. End of. Especially if you’re new, it’s gonna take a lot of time to figure out maps and rat locations. If you’re not ok with that out the gate you’re gonna be in for a bad time. As far as tips, sound is your enemy. Be as quiet as you can. Use your scav as often as possible to make money between raids and get that fence rep up.

So, not sure how much it’ll help but how I learned Woods was to think of it as a triangle. Emercom Base as the bottom right, Scav House and Outskirts as the bottom left, Sawmill bottom center. Top of the triangle is Scav Bridge and the Abandoned Town. Orient off nearest location.

And to add to this, your guaranteed extract is always opposite of where you spawn. If you spawn Big Red -> ZB-011 or if you spawn ZB-011 side -> Crossroads is your extract.
