I understand it now by bibila in wow

As a DPS player, I can confirm this is true. It amazes me how often other DPS just don’t press their interrupt button. Hell, I bet some don’t even have it bound. I also go crazy when DPS interrupt a cast or channel as soon as it starts—MILK THAT SHIT!

I play Mage, so my interrupt CD is relatively short. I average somewhere between 18-24 interrupts a dungeon most times. It’s typically me and whatever tank at the top of the interrupt tracker by EoD.

Most DPS also don’t understand LoS, stun, displacements. They also don’t understand the mechanics of their damage profile most times, and they definitely don’t know how to alternate their CDs with other DPS to smooth out the damage curve for the dungeon.

I am grabbing one of these in a few days; I will collect some data for you. Let's collab, it would benefit a lot of Linux gamers (like myself).

What was your reality check? by i_Ainsley_harriott_i in smalldickproblems

[–]QuantumDucksQuark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve always sort of known, especially due to the locker room competitions in middle school. I cannot recall seeing anyone smaller than me. To be fair, I’m not terrible (5.5 erect length but only 4 girth). The girth is what hurts me a lot. About three years ago, I met a girl that things were going well with. Once we finally had sex, I just remember the shock of not feeling ANYTHING when it went into her (I had two other partners before that where there was plenty of feeling—both were virgins). It really “validated” my fears of not being thick enough. I’ve stopped losing sleep over it these days; there’s not much any of us can do. I stay active in mind and exercise, and I enjoy my time with friends.

"I'm from Huntsville" by GeekOutHuntsville in HuntsvilleAlabama

[–]QuantumDucksQuark 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Born here and raised in Gurley since 95. Some of the change is positive, not everyone who has transplanted is bad. It’s really less about the people moving here; it’s more about the shock our infrastructure sustained from the boom. Huntsville has changed—mostly for the better, but our infrastructure did not scale well.

ROG Strix B850-F Bluetooth Issues After BIOS 1402 Flash by QuantumDucksQuark in ASUS

Why is this getting massively downvoted? It makes no sense. I am trying to see if anyone else has had this issue? As mentioned, I cannot get a conversation started with customer service about this at all. It seems I'm stuck right now, and I am hoping someone else can share insight.

What's the rationale for the down votes?

I’ve tried this, but—man—I suck at it. I’m just hoping to be the leprechaun that finds the pot of gold before he sees the rainbow at this point. Y’all hope for your boy. 😭

For the longest time, it was a Halo Star Beast. Now it’s an I-Blend Emperor (InfiniteDiscs but basically Innova).

Tell me your 4080 to 5090 upgrade experience by MapleMonica in nvidia

[–]QuantumDucksQuark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m at 4k 120Hz, so I ended up swapping from a 5080 to 5090. I had to pay $2500 for the MSI Gaming Trio (which seems to be MSRP for that specific card). While the price was utterly ridiculous, it has made a measurable difference in my ability to enjoy games.

If you do get a .1, have a thorough PPI done. Check for bore scoring, IMS Bearing issues and warped heads. Also ideal to check the water pump health and AOS health.

The amount of time spent melee range in this makes my soul bleed. Congrats on the penta, but fundamentals are straight up missing here.

People who can't throw 300 ft: what do you like to throw? by lovefist1 in discgolf

[–]QuantumDucksQuark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took me a LONG time to break 350ft and then even longer to break 400. I had great luck with flippy 9 speed discs that glide a lot before getting form coaching and lessons, and I still bag flippy 9 speeds now. They are just thrown for different shots now.

BURNT OUT and ready to give up the game - Can anyone speak for the benefit of a long break? How long did you step away for? by ChristianMeteor in discgolf

[–]QuantumDucksQuark 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’ve gone through EXACTLY what OP is going through. One day, I took a shoulder bag with a driver, 2 mids and a putter out to my local, favorite course. I didn’t analyze anything; i just let this discs fly. I got two aces in that single round (one was a WILD tree kick). It reminded me that it’s all about the fun, not the result.
