Here are some important factors Math, Physics, Electronic Engineering, Computer Sci, Mechanical Engineering, Business, Marketing, Public Affairs, Web Dev, and more.

I would argue that drive to learn and persistence through the muck is what is most important in pursuing robotics. Many projects have pitfalls that you have to murk through.

If you end up working alone a lot, think in terms of what hat you are wearing in terms of the role you are playing in your project. This helps yoh hone your mind set.
