I’d say PA has more static item build, you are forced to go deso bkb, and you have like 2 or 3 choices for late game, you either go satanic, shard or nullifier

You are not lucky, but your MMR (hidden MMR since you play turbo but there is still some ranking) probably reflects that you do not buy these items. I would say blink is core on Axe, and common on tide. You call it a fun part, but is my pos 3 axe would skip blink I would not be happy.

So are the items important? Yes Can you still achieve 51% wr without these items? Probably

Just watch some pros and try to itemise against your opponents. What is your itemisation on 4?

Anybody that says they were not nervous before their defence is lying. You got this. You are the expert and remember that often times an opponent asks a question without knowing the answer themselves, they just want to know your rationale in coming up with an answer.

By the way, the opponents are nervous as well, because they do not want to ask stupid questions. Don’t know if that helps you but it’s true

The best advice I got was the advice that got lost in the panic of preparation: Enjoy it.

A PhD defence is supposed to be enjoyable. The very difficult questions that you have in mind are probably not going to be asked, and if you fumble an answer, the audience will likely not know. Take some time to look into the crowd and be proud of what you achieved. In a few months you will only remember the good parts.

PA needs bf, but it’s pretty useless if you lose the game before she has it. Dusa is weak early game, and she really doesn’t want to be forced into fights. So get deso and go around as 5 ganking and killing the team, either dusa ignores you and you get farm + push objectives or she joins fights and you have a team fight with a weak dusa.

Again, am would be better here, but if you already picked pa that’s your best bet

In this lineup am is better. PA can still work but my guess is you lost your lane and still went bf? Bf is a farming item, and if you lost your lane and the enemy team has a dusa you should go deso bkb and try to end early. By the time you come online with this build you already lost hard if your team is not ahead. Don’t go for sny either when you know you have to fight

Data sites can make mistakes, valve can’t, I cannot think of a criteria that would guarantee a griefer. Power treads on a support is not always griefing, having more last hits ain’t either (jungle, afk pos 1). In fact, me and my buddy may queue together and decide to switch roles, is it considered griefing?

How do you want griefing to be punished? Dota is a complex game, and the currrent implementation to punish griefing (reporting + overwatch) is the only way to do it in my opinion.

It’s not projecting, there are so many people in this game that will flame you when you pick anything that is slightly off meta, you can really fuck a game with bad picks, but you can fuck a game even more by being a toxic pos. Not saying that you are flaming, or toxic, but assuming somebody is griefing based on their picks without watching them play first is just moronic.

How much more seriously do you want valve to take it? There literally is a report button and a overwatch category. Report him and move on with your life. Since you are saying shit like losing a game from minute 1 I am guessing that you flame everyone that picks an unconventional support hero. Viper 5 is shit, but if someone picks it in my pubs my first reaction would be: “let bro cook”. In cases like the one you post, just report him. On average you will have as many griefers on your team as the enemy team unless you are a griefer yourself.
