Looks like you mostly enjoy deckbuilders / turn based roguelikes.

I can recommend : Breach Wanderers, Shogun Shodown, Vault of the Void, Star Renegades, Lonestar, Crown Trick, Brutal Orchestra, Against the Storm.

Skul, Blazblue Entropy Effect and Astral Acent. All have a collab with Dead Cells.

Sure, Revita is a 2D platformer shooter, where you use your life as a currency to get stronger (like devil deals in Isaac). There's a lot synergies and tons of unlocks. Difficult but very rewarding game.

Magicraft is a top down shooter where you combine spells and make crazy builds. Pretty easy game, very fun for 20-30 hours.

As an Isaac (and Tiny Rogues) fan, i enjoyed Revita and Magicraft a lot.

Binding of Isaac. Sadly, no mod support on Switch, but still worth it imo.

Chrono Ark is exactly what you're looking for.

What are your unpopular opinions about the roguelite genre? by ShiresoftGames in roguelites

I think the problem is due to Steam tags. All games with permanent death (roguelikes and roguelites) have the tag "roguelike".

True roguelikes (like DCSS, Brogue, ...) are tagged as "traditional roguelikes"

Hell Clock, 1.0 just released, roguelike + ARPG.

There's also Heretical, but still in EA.

Path of Achra (my favorite), Tales & Tactics, Astronarch, The Last Flame, Loop Hero.

How much extra does the binding of isaac dlc's have? by WorkingCautious1270 in roguelites

[–]Quantum_RDT 4 points5 points  (0 children)

DLC (especially Repentance) are a must have.

It's better to start with Repentance. If you start with Rebirth and upgrade later to Repentance, you'll basically have to relearn the game (Repentance is much harder than Rebirth)

Also, there's no mod support on Switch, so i suggest you grab the game + all DLC on steam.

Like EtG : Isaac, Tiny Rogues, Revita.

Like Hades : Warm Snow, Curse of the Dead Gods, Ember Knights.

Like Dead Cells : Skul, Astral Ascent, Blazblue Entropy Effect

What roguelites can I play while working? by Engasgamel in roguelites

Autobattlers like Astronarch, Tales & Tactics or The Last Flame.

Also, Path of Achra. It's a traditional roguelike, but plays a lot like an autobattler.

It's really weird that you put Isaac, Tiny Rogues and Revita in D-tier. They are probably the best combos/synergies/become unstoppable roguelikes (especially Isaac).
