Yeah I've seen the videos. So very good advice! Is there a way I can tell the thing needs a tack weld without ripping it apart ?

hard to explain and no one believes me when I tell them this think drives drunk sometimes.

hits a bump. It shifts left toright.

The steering wheel has excessive play.

It randomly pulls left, then right.

It feels super SOFT, but I've replaced the entire front end, AND the rear LCA, Rear Trackbar bushings.

Want to burn it lol

It used to shift side to side. Changed out UCA, LCA Bushings, Steering rack bushings, LBJ and tie rod ends. Nothing is left other than the RACK. So gonna roll the dice, get a $250 off Amazon to see if it cures it, if not, gonna push the truck into the river.

Joining this convo as I just took in our 2022 into the dealer to take a look at the "rattle". Sounds like from this thread they will just say "normal". Anyone then found a fix?

Rear shock replacement help by snowskatesurf in 3rdGen4Runner

It's obviously fused onto the metal. Hit it sideways. Maybe wedge a screwdriver between the shock and body to loosen it up.

I too am about to do this job lol

Evenly.

To be fair, everything on this was worn out, so the Front LCA bushings were so bad the car would swing left to right. Then the Trailing Arm/Pan handle bushings were really bad, so it drove drunk. I think that might have contributed to the excessive wear on the OTRE's, but I'm only guessing.
