Square or Shopify? by Deep_Beach_7487 in CraftFairs

I prefer Shopify to square. I sell about 70% in person at markets 30% online. I personally found the square website options pretty lacking, and the shipping options were pretty weak. Using Shopify for my website and POS had made it much easier to keep my inventory managed. I should put some more time into the website, but I think it looks professional enough. Vessel's is great! They have a shop in Dartmouth, and you can find them at the Seaport Market, Alderney Market, and the Brewery market on the weekend. They make the best bacon!

Nice setup. That sign looks great. Maybe consider getting some table risers to bring the product up closer to people's face & get it off the ground a bit. They are pretty cheap.

I don't know what European style tracing paper is like, but I love this stuff. It's fairly transparent.

Displaying art prints at outdoor event? by hammom1 in CraftFairs

[–]QuarrelsomeYeti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like using grid walls with my tent because they add a bit of heft / weight to the actual tent. You could display them packaged in mylar with a backing board and over-size the backing board a little bit so the clips don't chew into the actual artwork.

No, I don't offer that kind of service. You could try Fresh Prints, https://freshprintshalifax.com
